Could U DO IT?? I was a hairdresser for 47 years & when my customer's would bring up me doing their hair when they died i would tell them i was not going to do it. If they felt like they were going to croak they better run by & let me get their hair done. It was a bog joke to us all when they brought it up. THEN IT HAPPENED, one of my customers was killed in a car wreck & her daughter called me & ask me to do her hair. How could i say no to her. One of the girls i worked with said she would go w/me. It was a very hard thing for me to do for more reasons than one. Over the years i did a bunch of them. I felt like if i could do their hair for years when they were aloive i owed them to do it that last time , Could u do it??

If I could cut hair I would surely do it for my customers when they die. However, I know it would be done with alot of tears in between. I'm sure the first time I did it would be the hardest but as I continued I think it would get easier to accomplish but still with alot of tears.

I am not really sure if I could or not. But if I was asked to and I knew that person well before that. Then yes I probly would out of the kindess of my heart for that person and the family.

It certainly is hard a decision to make. But personally I would say no. Cheers!

It was never a hard decision for me to make. If the family ask me to do it, i did. I felt i owed it to my customers to make them look pretty that last time.

Yes, I could. Like you, I would think of it as a tribute. Just something to do for a loyal customer. If I didn't know the person, I don't think I would. But if I were the regular hair dresser, I'd already know what she liked, and maybe I'd feel if the family wanted me to do it, at least I'd know it would be done by someone you know she trusted to get it right.

Yes I think I could, if I was asked that would tell me I was very special to that person and therefore I would do her hair. Hard to do, Yes absolutely but I would look beyond it all as an honor. You're the best.

What a wonderful person you are! I do not know if I could do it but I am sure that your customers were smiling at you and blessing you for making them look good in their coffin. I always tell my kids that if they see that I am dying then please remember to get my roots done!

I don't know...It would be tough. Maybe if I just focused on the task at hand and not think about anything else...I don't know. I think it's great that you did it though.
