It seems there are a lot of foreigners on Mylot, but where did everyone from the US go? I can't seem to relate my conversations with those from other countries.

You should be able to relate your conversation to us from other countries. We sometimes have great insight that you may not nesacarily get from an american. I not saying that Americans dont have great insight but sometimes other cultures have a completely different insight which can be better than your own beliefs. I personally appreciate conversation from everybody, although with some topics and conversations you do need insight and conversation with people from your own culture and country.

I know, but most of the people here are asking about American stuff they don't really even know about just to get points. I feel like I cannot thrive without more people that understand the news or conversation topics we mostly discuss.

Foreigners ? Sorry to spoil your fun, MrNiceGuy, but you are a foreigner also, for me ... Basicaly, most of users are foreigners to others, as here is an international comunity. There is an idea: if you want to chat exclusevly with americans, start the post with this requirement ...

Hi wmraul, what an odd requirement this chappy has. Personally I like chatting with foreigners and Romanians are the top of my list.

Hey there, I 'm from America. We are here. I actually don't even notice the culture difference on most topics unless the english is very broken. Anyway, at least one american is still here.......oops...I mean 2...forgot to include you in that count.

U seriouly have a problem to be so tacky to start such a tacky discussion. If u can't relate to people from everywhere maybe you have a problem w/narrow mindness. I am from america but have made many friends from other countries that i feel very close to. I think it very sad that u feel this way & even sadder that u wrote a discussion on it. I don't like showing my ignorance but guess some people do.

Hello, you'll find lots of Americans to play with in the politics section as they don't really encourage foreigners there, so as long as you enjoy screaming at people and being insulted you should be able to find room in the playground there for yourself. Actually there are more Americans on this site than any other nationality and some of them are broad minded enough to speak to foreigners. You probably fit the mould though of what most foreigners think of most Americans though so it's good to see that there's someone around to uphold they sterotypical of Americans. Now, can you point out my friend Wmrauls country on the map or is it one that you've never heard of. Even you must have heard of mine and the Rabbit's, as actually our civilisation began long before yours.

isn't that part of the point mrniceguy - to chat with people from other countries? presumably if you just want to talk to americans you could go next door and have a conversation with americans. in american rather than english...

I have varied interests my dear rabbit, just like your good self. I need a break sometimes from our local and national politics so like to see what kind of a mess they are making of it over the pond.

I am a Canadian, so pretty close I guess. My husband is on Mylot, and he's an American, as well as a lot of my American friends. So far all of my referals except one (Canadian) are American. There are lots of Americans on here, as well as lots of people from other countries. Mylot is a global community. That's why I like it on here.

I also have the same question. I have been working with Mylot for around one year. I feel that the number of Americans who are active in Mylot has reduced by a big percentage. There is a lot of people from India and Philippines here. Foriegners are more here because they make good deal considered to people from USA by converting dollars to their local currency.

hello nice guy, probably you haven't been checking the recent and top discussions, lately. but i got to admit, when i joined here last year they were a lot of US mylotters with lots and lots of very unique discussions. am not sure on where they have gone but the newbies of last year had also been active lately, now as one of the oldies. i believe some are on to other things, some are mostly even active in facebook or other sites.
