Taylor Swift's songs are redundent! I'm sick of her singing about how it is being a teenager and what it is like being in love at that age! Give me a break! Shift needs to grow up in her life and her music! If she doesn't she'll be washed up in no time!

I have to agree that Taylor Swifts songs even sound the same with the same beat and music. It will be interesting if her career lasts very long. There are alot of young country singers that peak young and never get the same sales when they get older. She better take a lesson from Madonna and keep her persona new and fresh. Love or hate Madonna, she is still going strong.

I really don't know if Taylor Swift will do that or is even aware of what you wrote. I really think she is just living in the moment and probaly doesn't think about her singing future! Swift is young and I think she is clueless when it comes to reaventing herself like Madonna has! I think she'll be out of the spotlight with in 5 years or less!

You wold think that whoever is managing her career would be looking ahead and planning for an image transition. But, maybe she has her own ideas. Look how bad Lindsay Lohan has messed up her career. All these young people need to take a hard look at her!

Considering the fact that Taylor is only 19 years old, it seems normal to me that she would sing about the experiences in her life! The one thing that I was told in college writing classes is "to write what you know".
She can't write or sing about issues or experiences that she's never been through and still be believable!
It is also a fact that a huge majority of music/cd's are bought by teenaged girls between the ages of 10 and 18. They are going to be able to relate to Swift's music because many of them are living the same heartaches that she sings about!
I personally love her music. Each song tells a story, and I believe is unique. Perhaps, you would feel differently if you looked at the words to some of her songs. It's what I did, and they made so mch more sense.

I completely agree with you carpenter5 as to why her music is all about love and heartbreak and things like that. Shes young she hasent experienced all that much as far as her love life goes so her music is about what she feels. I'm sure as she ages and goes through more experiences her music will change as well. I like a lot of her sons but a lot of them are boring. I do understand what you are saying about her sons being redundent blue65packer but I still like her music anyway.

Actually, I like her music. I think she seems like a really sweet & genuine person. As for her music being about young people and teens....well, I would say it reflects her...she is after all a teen herself.
