The Relationship Between Dreams and Our Real Life?

Sometimes, when I am trying to do something and then I feel that I have done such a thing before. Yes, it seems that I have met such a situation before although I haven’t done it. Generally speaking, our dreams may show that what we have experienced in the part time. According to some specialists, dreams are connected with important brain processes. I haven't had any dreams come true but one of my friends tell me that he has dreams that come true. Some people believe that life is just a dream. Back to my questions. Can our dreams turn to reality? Do you have dreams that come true? Is there relationship between dreams and our real life?

I believe that in our dreams we are often processing what is going on for us, or what we want to happen or are concerned about. Sometimes we solve problems in our dreams. I think if we focus on our dreams they have a good chance of coming true.

Hi getbrowser, I believe that there is a relationship between dreams and real life, in fact I think that we should all work on remembering our dreams. I have known dreams that told of things that happened a day or so later and when I was a young man, I thought it pretty scary. Today I think that dreams can teach us many things, if we are willing to take time to practice remembering them. Blessings.

I think I have this experience,I remember when I was on campus, one day,I walked along the road that I often come across, and it was autumn, and the sun was very bright, then suddenly,I remembered that one day when I was in the senior middle school,I had dreamed of this scenario, just like this! Sometimes,I even don't believe this, but I can feel this is true.

I have had a couple a dreams come true. Well, it wasn't the exact same scenerio that I drempt of, but the outcome was the same. My dreams have helped me solve problems though. I often times dream of what I am thinking about before I go to bed and often times find solutions in my dreams. It's pretty cool.

My dreams usually deal with numbers and are extremely accurate. When gas was selling for $4.50 a gallon I had a dream that I paid $ 1.39 and 2 months later a friend of mine paid $ 1.39 in Kansas City. I had told him about the dream and he laughed about it and two weeks later he called me. Also, I owned a stock that was selling for $ 13.20 and I had a dream That it dropped to 9.81. So I sold the stock and within two days it fell to 9.80 and I bought it back around that price and two days later it was back up to 13.20. Ive had about 8 of these dreams in the last year or so, one I couldnt figure out and one allowed me to make $ 20,000 but if I would have waited another day like my dream told me to I would have made $ 30,000 and this was during 4 days after the dream. I believe my dreams deal with numbers because im a numbers person. I was born the the ability to add, substract, multiply and divide without being thought. If you are a very caring person your dreams might be about people. I believe we are all given gifts when we are born and if we learn how to use them to help others it will continue to help us.

Yes, I think this can happen. In fact I have known it to happen. I recall my sister-in-law who had talked to me about her daughter who had begun having these horrible dreams. Dreams about her school having a fire and several others I don't recall now. She was wake in night with nightmares and then a short time later the nightmare was reality. The school had its fire along with several things coming to life that she had dreamed about.

What you originally describe sounds like what is known as "deja vu," and I've experienced that a number of times. Some things we dream may come true, others not. I do believe the things we dream are related to our waking life. I've heard many theories on dreams, but they vary so much it's hard to know which is the most accurate theory...perhaps they all have merit. Karen

Hello,Dreams are often a reflection of our true selves. The subconscious registers events as they unfold in our lives and then we dream from these events registered in our subconscious.Hence dreams often tell us who we really are. What we think about just before falling asleep is not akin to dreaming. For instance i could be thinking about a beautiful women i just met and this does not constitute dreaming. That is just desire. But if i think about the same women after i have fallen into a deep sleep then that is a dream and may mean something.Sometimes your greatest fears are re-enacted in your dreams through events you may have experienced in real life.In that case your dreams give you a clue about your fears and you can do something positive to handle your fears in real life. This is just my 2 cents worth.

I have felt that way too. I dream very vividly and in color. I dream every night. I don't know what to make of this. Sometimes I feel that I am going to see things that are going to happen, sometimes I feel that it is my fears coming to the surface.

I had some friends told me that they're familiar with what they're doing or saying. It's saying that the thoughts in the daytime will reflect in the night dreams. When your mind is full of one thing, you keeping thinking about it.It'll be possible to dream in at night. The possibility of dream coming true should be tiny I think.

I think that there are definite relations between our dreams and real life. However, they are symbolic and rarely ever happen in life *exactly* as it happened in the dream. It might sound new-age-y, but it's really not. More like psychology. There have been times before that I have met people that I see in a dream or even while I am closing my eyes in the dark, right before I fall asleep. It's somewhat strange, but exciting at the same time (: It makes me wonder why these people are so important, that they were shown to me before I met them.

I also came across with such activities which I did and that time I felt like I have done this before exactly such as same dress, environment, people around me and their behavior, channel on TV and lot more. It is easy to find out extreme next step of activity or result. It feels like we entered in to past time zone. But dear friends let me tell you this called as DEJAVU. In dejavu person get instincts or dreams and it happens in coming future time. Dreams are varies from person to person and time to time and yes, brain cells and entire universe is responsible for it. We people carry positive as well as negative vibes depends upon person's karma. Alertness of mind and having thoughtful nature with emotional touch and beliefs helps to solve lot of queries regarding dreams. I guess there are 2 type of dreams. One where person wants to see himself at certain level of success in career or life and dream about it. Second which comes automatically without any particular thought or so and which turns in to reality in future.

I believe that sometimes dreams can really turn to reality.I have experienced this before.Years ago,in my dream,I found myself walking on the stairs in the middle school which I attended.A year or so later,I came back to work at the school ,which was out of my expectation. Was that just a coincidence?lol Im interested in analyzing whatever dreams I have.

Hello getbrowser this is checkmail and according to me yeah the dreams can come true i we can generate that much ability to work hard and honestly for it.Basically dream is the thing that inspires us to move more in our life else we would have settled for what is avail. So all this innovation and modernisation were somebodies dreams which came true due to efforts made by them.Actually dream can be called as our though which we plan as per our own view.

Yes, I believe there is a relationship between dreams and our real life. As you said dreams are connected to our mind. And whatever actions we do are guided by our mind. So whatever we think, many time that happens to us.

I too experience moments where I feel as if that moment has already happened, mind you I do often experience visions. For me, I see a very short, usually 5-30 second, visual clip of a situation yet to come. Almost always, that same situation will come true sometime in the future, be it months or years from the date of the vision. So, to sum it up, I guess I really do think that there can exist a strong correlation between the dreams we have and what happens in real life :)
