Sitting here, can't leave, also having nothing to do.It's my job.
I only have to focus 2-3 three hours to work in a day,I don't know what to do in the left 5-6hours.Be frank,it's too boring.I prefer to be busy everyday.
How about you?

I use to volunteer at this Thrift Store. Often times we'd get days where very little customers would be in. I'm at the cash register, so if no one buys anything, I don't really have a whole lot to do. So, during days like this, I'll probably shift through some old newspapers we have lying around (we have these so we can wrap plates, dishes, and other delicate stuff), and do the crossword puzzles or the sudoku puzzles. Sometimes, however, we would use up all the newspapers and I'm stuck sitting at the register, twiddling my thumbs. Now that I think about it, however, it never occurred to me to bring a book or a magazine or something else to read with me.
If I was in an office or something, I'd probably do something a little more constructive. But yeah, I'd totally be bored if I didn't have anything to do, especially if it's for 5-6 hours. I don't know how you do it.

Yeah, I'm usually the only one at the front. My manager is always at the back of the store sorting all the donations.
As for something constructive, well, it'll depend on the kinds of things you like do. Some things I would try out are: writing a short story, make friendship bracelets, boondoggle keychains, or origami, organize my desk area, perhaps do some cross-stitching (always wanted to learn how to do that), perhaps try to make something using only office equipment (for ideas I would visit instructables.com), or perhaps play on my Nintendo DS.
If my activity on the computer is not monitored, then I would probably post in forums, chat online, or perhaps create my own blog or website about a particular topic.

Sometimes, I'm busy for a whole day, send emails to customers, quote and place the order etc. Yeah, you will find the time went by fast if you are busy. But at the same time, I envy you can have more time to relax.

..I'm working full time but I don't have much work to do that's why I join sites like this to break the monotony of my job.. I love dealing with people and conversing with them.. I love listening and reading opinions of others.. Sometimes, I read fiction materials and stories..

With my job it's the same way: A few hours of work and then just being there the rest of the time. I'm learning Russian right now during my down time at work. I also read or go on the Internet. I like having a job where I mostly get to do what I want.
