Given that Filipinos tend to decide based on emotions and cry over spilled milk instead of moving forward to a better future, yes I think we will be spending another political circus after a new president is elected. Instead of having political reforms and continue the little good that has been done, the new president will once again start from scratch and do things in his own version of a corrupt government.
I'm hopeful someday this vicious political cycle will stop. How can a country even move forward if we keep on resetting our goals and plans everytime a new president steps in
It's time we set aside our emotions and revisit the detrimental traditions that Filipinos have. If we want to be serious and make to be another rich nation like Singapore then let's stop all the political non-sense and work together. We will never have a clean presidency but we just have to live with that.
I believe in the innate goodness of the intent of those who run for president. They still have their own platforms but sometimes the mistakes they commit are the only ones magnified by media and protests. When the presidency is an absolute evil that's when the true spirit of Edsa will rise again. (and not the evil that was conjured by people with their own vendetta with the current presidency)

Those guys after her head are definitely not going to stop. Not after her hogging the presidency for 9 years doing nothing really productive. She takes credit in everything she did not start or do, as long as it happened withing her reign. And yes, the immunity of the president from any criminal accusation is keeping her from being sued in court. We should make corrupt officials pay for their actions.

I guess it will depend on who wins the election next year. If it's Gibo, i'm sure there will be concessions. I think the administration party will try their best to put Gibo in the presidents seat since I'm sure GMA will have a lot of headaches if one of the opposition candidate wins. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

Well it depends on who will win in the coming elections. If the people will allow the administration from staying in power then she will go scot free. But if the people will not allow it to happen and would elect a competent leader then there may be some chance that the Arroyo's will be prosecuted and the be given light to their scandalous activities during their term.
