I am bound for my job to keep smiling, have extra attentions and be kind with everyone, that's almost part of my job description. But sometimes it is misunderstood, especially with some clients that really take a smile more or less like I want to go out with them! I really don't know what to do, some keep on asking me to go out, I have tried inventing I am married and wear rings, but...yes, I have still to treat them well and make them feel special because they are customers, but they misunderstand it!!

I can see where that would be a problem. In my case, I don't see clients face to face, but some do become overly friendly even at that. I can discourage them by taking longer to respond via email or changing the topic. Maybe if you were very careful about not making eye contact or pretending that you were a little distracted? It may not make for the absolute best in customer relations, but it may be better than turning them down when they want to go out with you.
