I would personally recommend Nokia. It is very user friendly and you don't have to spend much just to stay connected. It also durable, as mine already survived a lot of drops.

I really don't know what is the best ss I only know about the phone I have, and it is an LG enVTouch, with a touchscreen, and a qwerty keyboard which I use for texting my daughter once in awhile. I personally, have had Nokie, but I really didn't like it all that well, so I can't say anything about it since I only had one and didn't have it to long. It really all depends on what features your wife wants or needs for the phone. Some haved more features than others. I watch outube videos on mine, which are very crisp and clear. It has lost of features, more than I will ever use, but I am not complaining, as they are there if I should eer decide to use them and don't have to pay extra for. That is a good thing too. Take care, and happy mylotting.
