What game are you playing now?

I'm currently playing a game called Oni which is an action/adventure game. What I like about it is that it has good gameplay focusing on melee action but also has guns. It's in third person and you play an agent that is trying to stop a terrorist organisation that is creating illegal technologies. I'm also playing Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. I generally like RTS games and I like many of the Command & Conquer titles. Even though this game isn't the latest Command & Conquer game, I play it since the later ones can't run on my PC. After seeing the trailer for the new "Borderlands" game, I wanted to play it because of it's multiplayer co-op feature that is incorporated in the campaign and also the massive array of weapons it has. What games are you playing or want to play and why do you like them?

I enjoy the Action RPG genre the most spearheaded by the classic "Diablo" series. Right now there are a few games I am into which fall into the category such as "Titan Quest" and "Loki". Although this genre does not have much depth as other genres, it's addictive gameplay is still it's best asset. There are newer titles such as "Fate" and "Torchlight" which are products of former "Diablo" developers and are highly recommended if you are an ARPG fan (like me). I also play DOTA offsprings such as "Heroes of Newerth" (which is in closed beta as of the moment) and "League of Legends" which is free to play.

Ahh yes, Diablo was fun in the times. I also have Titan Quest on my HD but have yet to play it. I've also played Fate and Dota. You've probably heard of Demigod too? I think it's from the same people who developed Dota. League of Legends, that sounds familiar, I think I've seen screenshots of that game before, I'll check it out sometime.

I don't think Demigod can compete with the regular Dota on Warcraft 3, there's just so much lacking. I can't really play HoN since I don't have enough RAM but I've seen my friends play it. A nice alternative to Dota and it's free too.

Demigod was the first DOTA ripoff, i have yet to play it but i've seen the trailers. I'm so much into HoN that i don't think i'd be playing Demigod anytime soon. If you play it and enjoy, please tell me about it so i can try it too.

Oni is a very nice find there, it's one of the few 3rd person games that are awesome. Others have come after it like that matrix game but it still doesn't beat Oni.As for command & Conquer titles, i still think Red Alert 2 was the best even though it's old by now. Now though I'm focused on making my own games, not much playtime left for me other than bug testing.

I liked Tiberian Sun more than RA2 however, RA2 did share some simlarities with Generals in terms of units. That's great what kind of games are you programming?

Only programming a few simple games at the moment. Current active projects include: a plain shooter game, a bullet hell/curtain fire shooting game and a plain platformer game with flight features. Nothing good enough to beat commercial games graphics-wise but it's a start. Game play-wise however, i think it'll come out addictive save for the platformer. And yeah, generals does have nice graphics, but the gameplay didn't exactly impress me.

At the moment I am playing 3 escapegames, and they are called "The night before", "The morning after" and "Ghostscape". "The night before" is quite hard, and it took me a while to get through all of the rooms, but it is fun to play. I still haven't managed to find all the things inside the pub. I love those games, the graphics are great and the games are fun and really challenging. "Ghostscape" is not that hard, you have to escape, but there are no mini games inside the games, but I still like it. I like escapegames and hidden object games very much, but I also play other kinds of games.

That sounds interesting. I like some puzzle incorporated elements in my FPS and RPG games or otherwise puzzle games themselves. I've never heard of those games before but they seems to be worth playing from what you've mentioned.

Ahh yes, World of Warcraft definitely is a popular game and is a solid MMO from what I hear people say. I used to play quite a few MMOs such as Asda Story, Cronous and Wizard 101. I used to like playing Multiplayer FPS shooter games as they are quick and fun to shoot people.

I'm currently playing Fallout3 on the Xbox360. It has alot of gunplay but you also have the option of melee which is good. The story is very unusual and very immersive which is great. The game has alot of add-ons and it has lots of missons to complete. Its quite a long game which I love. Plus there is alot of Character customizing options. The game is very fun and very similar in gameplay to Oblivion.
