Do you prefer to drink out of plastic or glass?
I mostly drink out of a big plastic cup. I am a big water dinker, and a tiny glass will not cut it. Water koolaid and ice tea all get drunk from my big plastic cup. I only use glass if I have milk or juice, and that is mainly because it is easier to clean those things off of glass, and be sure it gets off.
So whats your preferance and why?

i think plastic cup is ok,
but i heard somewhere that some plastic cups are dangerous to health
plastic bottles and cups come up with a number or something on the underside in which greater thn 5 is ok for using more than a time but plastic under 5 should be used only one time,
i am not sure about this thing, but i think other mylotters can help in it

If possible I will choose glass, because the plastic glass will contaminate the contents within it with pollutants. And most of the time, these pollutants are dangerous to our body because they are potential to cause cancer. The glass container is better because they will not contaminate its contents. However, the glass container is heavier and fragile. Besides, I feel that the water taste tastier when I drink from the glass container.

I prefer to drink on glass when I am at home and eating on a restaurant and fast food. While if I am outdoor i used plastic cups to throw to throw it away as a disposable item as i do not have the nerve to bring with me glass when I am in long traveling as i may accidentally break it. Definitely, glass is better than plastic as one could even sterilize the bottles after one uses it.

Wish I knew!! I am just so confused on what is better for the planet. Glass can be used more times then it can be recycled. Plastic is often use-and-throw but is recycled too. So I don't really know.
At home I use glass. And out or at work I have to go for plastic as there's no way to wash anything there.
I also have read plastic may release unwanted chemicals into the food, I'm not sure if that can really happen as there are plastic kinds called 'for foods' so they shouldn't, but we usually learn these things years after the accident happened.

Well as long as it is a recyclable plastic cup I think it is ok. That way people can reuse them many many times until they throw it away. I am not really pro-plastics as this adds up to the wastes that gives us floods most especially if they are not disposed of properly. I have been packing my lunch in plastics before. I did this because I just throw away the plastics after I eat. I was too lazy to wash my lunch box. But then after the horrible floods that we experienced in our country I recently switched to using my lunch box instead of packing my food in plastics. That way I am able to minimize the plastic wastes in my own little way.

I prefer glass in everything. Never had cared for plastic dishes. I love pretty glassware & collect it & plastic is not pretty to me.

I prefer to drink out of glass. One reason being that you wash a glass and reuse it. I have really started to Go Green in the last few years so I almost always use glass. It may be my imagination but plastic that is reusable seems to give drinks a different taste.

I prefer to drink out of glass and not from plastic. Personally, I think it is "cleaner" from a container made of glass than plastic. Plastic cups become smelly if not thoroughly cleaned from previous use. This specially happens when the plastic cup is used for juices or milk. Plastics are not safe to use with hot liquids, too. Drinking containers made of glass withstand hot liquid and good for cold drinks, too.

So did i. I am big water drinker too. Maybe per day i drink more than 8 glasses, but i'm not sure with your behavior that use big plastic cup for drink, it's too big for me. I can't drink out directly with. I always use a medium glass. Happy mylotting.
