It's been ages since a film made me sad enough to cry, but one magical moment in a Harry Potter film brought tears of ecstasy to my eyes, & literally stole my breath away. It was the moment when Harry was riding the hippograph over that silver-bright lake, & it was totally silent. The beast swept down from the sky, & grew closer & closer to the water's surface, finally trailing just one toe in the water as they sped over it. My friend Elic & I were both stunned. I leaned over to her & whispered, "This is what movies were created for." I still get chills just thinking about it! But I can't recall the name of the last film that made me cry because I felt grief. Been too long since Hollywood's done anything that deep, I guess. In a way, that's sad all by itself. You're welcome! I love the whole series, & I'll be sorry to see it end. It's one of the best film projects ever done! Now if someone would just do Anne McCaffery's "Pern" series! Wow! The effects we have that are S.O.T.A. would more than justify the effort. If only Anne would give the high sign! Maggiepie "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"

I absolutely sobbed my heart out when i saw The Notebook. It left me feeling rather depressed in all honesty. I try to avoid films like that now. I prefer romance comedies anyway.

I cant remember any. But I do really pity when Bumble Bee was caught by the soldiers and was sprayed with something that freezes him. Poor bumble bee. Also, when Optimus prime was back stab in the second movie, that was shocking...

What always draws a tear in me is when a woman is crying in a movie, any deap emotional moment when they show a woman crying. Actually one moment that gets me every time I watch was during the final episode of babylon 5 when she is sitting on the bench watching the sun come up every day after john passes on. The undieing faithfulness just pulls the tears right out of me.
