I bought a gateway net book and despite the fact that my brother encouraged me not to zsince he knows a lot about computers, so far I am pleased. it is very handy, I can go to every room with it and do some work. I no longer have to make a special computer room time in my house since we all wwant to use computer at the same time.
My only bother is the battery tim e . If unplugged netbook will only work for about 45 mins. if was fully charged and on the box the promise was up to 3 hrs.
Once plugged in however all is well.

I am happy that your happy with your new computer. But I wouldn't buy a gateway any kind of computer. That was the first computer I ever had and it "sucked". The gateway people that help you are not always speaking proper English and hard to understand. 6 months after I brought my gateway the mother board crashed. I didn't buy a used computer I brought a brand new computer and it had a 3 year warranty on it. And since we lived 75 miles from the closest gateway store we brought an extra warranty that cost over 200.00 for them to come to my house to fix anything that went wrong with the computer. Well it took them a month to come out to my house to fix the computer and I was without a computer for a whole month. Boy was I pissed. Thank God I figured out how to fix computers now so I don't have to call anyone to fix my computers any more. Good luck with your new computer.
