Where have you been? Would you go back? Why or why not? The best place I have visit was Hawaii. It is so beautiful. I ate Maui Maui and enjoyed the beautiful light blue water. I went to the luial, sorry for the misspelling. I really enjoyed the scenary. It was beautiful. I went on tour. Although, the flight was extremely long, I enjoyed my week vacation. I wish it was longer. I went when I was young, so yes I would definitely go back. When I was young I had a limit to what I could or could not do, but now that I am an adult I can go and enjoy myself independently.

For me it's a hard choice between London and Paris. London holds many of my memories of past relationships, so it's not a place I'd go back to live, but still it's a place I love. There I feel home. So many things to do, so many free attractions, so much history, I really loved it. Paris just has the disadvantage they all speak French and my French isn't at the top! But the places...I really loved LaDefense. The square...it's amazing, I felt like being on the moon and had tons of fun. Maybe Paris over London.

Wow... I have been to London and Paris as well. It is beautiful. The people at the resturants and the hotel's are really nice and they treat you like royalty. I thought that was really cool, because here in America you really don't see that much. They are very respectful and nice. I always wanted to know if those men that guard certain buildings in London were real and they really are and they stand very still. I always wondered how are they able not to flinch or move. That takes alot of strength, maybe it is a mind thing.

Hello Shelley. Nice to see you. So, you like travelling very much ! So do I. I have travelled a lot too, to countries in different parts of the world. [ I have not been to Hawaii though. You are more fortunate than me. ] I have been to many of the countries in Europe. Austria and Switzerland are really so beautiful and awesome. I enjoyed going to the Vienna Philamonic Orchestra in Vienna one time. Oh, that was really grand ! I am a classical music lover !

Oh really, wow. I have been to Europe, Italy, France, Switzerland, and other countries that I cannot pronounce. I had the most fun there because the people from the bag carrier to the desk were so nice and they treated me like a Queen. I was really young when I went. It was quite an experience. I would love to go back again someday. We have something in common we have been to some of the same places. That is great and good to know.

I absolutely love Uganda. I lived there for a year, and have been there & back 5x now - it's really my home. I love the people - so friendly and fun to talk to. The climate is awesome because it's tropical, right on Lake Victoria so there's fresh fruit & veggies all year round! And I love being able to go out & about town there, and not feel worried/scared/unsafe. It does help to speak a bit of Luganda though! Also, the Virunga Mts are absolutely amazing - very green and lush! No wonder the gorillas like to call it home! I definitely recommend going sometime!

Hi Shelley, nice topic you've got here. I haven't been to Hawaii yet, though I believe it's a wonderful place to visit, but I love traveling and I try to take long holidays when the destination is that far. I've been to the Dominican Republic twice, because the first time it was so unbelievably amazing that I felt like spending some time there again. We spend 3 weeks there and it wasn't enough. We took a few days trip to Las Terrenas, in the Samana Peninsula, where I've enjoyed laying in the sun on the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. We also went to El Limon waterfall, we got there on horseback through the forest, crossing a river... unforgettable adventures! I definitely recommend anyone a trip to the Dominican Republic, although it's a dangerous place and tourists should always accommodate themselves in resorts, not private independent villas.

I would have to say that the best place I had been so far was at the Philippine (Banawe) Rice Terraces. It was after one of the 8 wonders of the world. Being there is peaceful and relaxing. I was able to go with a group so we really enjoyed our stay there. I have appeciated the majesty of the beautiful mountains carved in terraces. Walking along these terraces gives a certain vibe of freedom and peace. Plus the sunrise is awesome. Makes me wonder how the ancients carved the mountains without advance machineries.

My favorite country that I have been to is Samoa. I loved seeing its white sandy palm beaches, the green rain forest, the cool waterfalls and the exciting blow holes. The local people were incredibly friendly. I visited Robert Louis Stevenson's house. My second favorite country is Australia and I loved seeing its varied landscapes. I so liked seeing its beaches, the outback and the stunning cities. I adored visiting Sydney. I saw the white sails of the opera house and the gray harbor bridge. It was wonderful to see the unique wildlife. My third favorite country is New Zealand and I adored seeing its superb sights. I liked North Land and the Coromandal Peninsula most of all. I walked a couple of its fantastic walking tracks. I have visited wonderful Hawaii. However I loved going to Belize in Central America and to the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. In those places I did much snorkeling. I liked going to French Polynesia and the Cook Islands in the Pacific Ocean very much indeed.

For me, I think the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado were the best place I had ever beautiful. It's cool to have something like them in the middle of the Rockies. You can hike around them, camp, or sandboard, all of which I did, with some of my best friends. It was a great experience.

I lived in Hawai'i for about a year. And yes, the Mahi Mahi fish is very inviting to the palate. Next time you go, try the Kalua pork or Poke (raw fish goodness). Those are even more tasty treats. But out of all the places I have traveled, I would have to say...hmm, San Francisco. I'm lived here 7 years and plan on 7 more. It's truly the most amazing city in the world. You should check it out.
