How many of you are excited for the Halloween activities?

I;m not really excited about it. Halloween here is different from where I come from. What I like in Halloween is the off price from the grocery stores. That's what I am excited for. When they will take off some percent from their items because of the Halloween? that's what I am excited for. what about you?

I love Halloween! I don't get excited in the way I used to when I was a kid though . . . but I am excited for my little one who now gets to experience all the Halloween fun. I like going to pumpkin patches, harvest festivals, Halloween train rides and haunted houses, all the costume shops . . . or just shopping around for Halloween decorations. Normally I would love to dress up too, but I am fully pregnant now and my costume is just an orange shirt and black pants - ha ha. I could care less about the candy aspect . . . I don't get that excited about that anymore - hee hee. I'm with you on the sales too!! Buy up for next year (except for the candy of course!).

Oh!!! I am just wondering why kids are so excited when Halloween comes. Is it for the costumes? or for the candy. I have never experienced wearing costumes when I was a kid that is why I am curious. Our tradition in our country during Halloween is different.

Well, Halloween is a time like no other. All the other holidays are nice and sweet . . . . but Halloween is supposed to be scary, ghoulish, and spooky (all in good fun, of course). On that note, that is why some people are opposed to Halloween. Kids can wear costumes - and pretend to be they are someone they are not . . . the candy aspect (getting treats) is always exciting . . . the whole atmosphere of Halloween is just so much fun - it's just different from all the other celebrations! What is Halloween like in your country?

It is a long 4 days holiday that we are having because of "All Saints Day" so I am so excited because I have long time to spend for my family. Other than that, Halloween activities do not excite me at all and we don't really celebrate anything about Halloween. There are also no discounts in the market. I wish we have big sales here too so I could enjoy shopping even more and be just as excited as you do.

yeah right!! I know how Halloween goes in our country. Long Holidays hahaha spending time in the cemetery, offering flowers and candles and this is the time for business because the flower shops and the candle makers make money on that. And beside that, the people who are working in the office like you will have long holiday and that is I think the nicest thing when it comes to Halloween in the Philippines.

I dont really care about halloween I find the holiday pretty stupid if you ask me. Sure I loved it as a kid mainly because of the candy and dressing up. But other then that its really kind of dumb now since I dont go to parties or celebrate it even though I do eat candy lol.

I'm with you, the older I get the less Halloween means to me. I'd rather get the candy I want for half price so I can eat it when I feel like it. We usually buy our decorations on sale anyway because we save money that way and we help the stores out by cleaning out their inventory. Boooooooo!

hahaha!! you're funny but that's right!! by buying those closing out sale, you are helping the store to clean up. I don;t experience having that candy also for Halloween. Not in our tradtion.

Hey Bebs! The only thing that I like about Halloween is all the candy that will be half price after Halloween and I can buy lots of candy and pig out on all my favorites! I don't like Halloween and never have! I don't think I really even liked it as a kid, or maybe I did like getting dressed up in a costume! I wanted to dress up my cats and take them trick or treating, but none of my human friends will go with me and I need help with the two of them! I probably would only take Star because he is the sweet one and Luna is the crazy cat and would scare everyone anyway!lol And Star is a beautiful black cat that I could really dress up and make him look adorable!

Here in our country, the Philippines, halloween is not really that much celebrated. Only a malls host costume constest. Trick or treats are not popluar either. hoenestly, I have nothing to be excited about Halloween. Or perhaps maybe the horror stories showed in television.

Oh really? I grew up in the place where the Halloween tradition is very different. I don't see kids knocking at doors in my place and have a trick. I want to see personally how it goes. I'm curious about it but since there are no kids in the neighborhood where I am now, I have no chance to witness for that.
