Resume writing tips?

I'm currently a college student and need to update my resume for a career fair tomorrow. Do you guys have any random tips as far as format is concerned? Any cool templates I can use? Examples? I read somewhere that it's recommended to use colored paper i.e. pastel colors to make it more noticeable. Comments?

YOu may use the scholastic format, you can have a template for that, it is in ENCARTA, under resume templates, instead of white paper i used a yellow bond paper to print out my resume. it was good, it got attention.
