Halloween is tomorrow, and everyone knows it tradition for young kids to go door to door and ask for candy. They dress up and everything is great. On the other hand, we have teenagers, 14+, that go around and do the same thing. Major difference is most do not even take the time to find a costume or if they do, its skimpy with no real thinking behind it. Is it fair for these older kids to go out and take away the candy of the young kids that really enjoy it??

It's not wrong for older kids to go out and trick or treat. I dont see a rule that says you have to be a certin age to go out and trick or treat even though I dont go because I find it embarassing lol but if someone wants to why not I dont really see a problem with it.

There's no rule against it, but I know from personal experience, the people giving out the candy seem not to like it. A friend of mine, 17, went out last year and hardly anyone gave him candy. So are people looking at these older kids as just trying to get free candy? I mean that's why I would go out to do it anyways.

i think that its not wrong, i mean i have had to take my younger brother trick or treating with me for several years and i always dressed up until these past couple years when i started voulnteering at the local haunted houses. they way i see it is that the anyone can do it, but just because your bigger doesnt mean you get more candy than the little kids, and that the older kids should not bully away the younger kids either, oh and when a sign says take ONE... take ONE so that there is enough for everybody
