Which breed have you taken a liking to?

i think minis are so cute and would love to have one. my favorite kind of horse though ive never had one are shires because i love really big horses. and my favorite horse that ive ridden is a little pony that is a mix between a shetland and a welsh hes so cute because he gets super fuzzy in the cold and hes really smart and easy to ride. i also have an old thoroughbred who's quite sweet but shes unusually docile for her breed i hear. and a quarterhorse but hes a pain in the butt if you want him to get away from her to go out riding.

we've got 3 horses at mums, one warmblood, whose more of a pet now due to injury. she's an alrounder, been there done that with us and even has represented australia twice. then i've got an australian stock horse, she's a buckskin. her personality suits me, i've had her for 3 yrs now. then we have my sons pony, she's from a top show stud out here. only 11hs but cute and my son height. if i'm going to get another horse i'm wanting to go for either another warmblood bout 17 hhs or a stock horse. i got the thing of wanting a BIG horse again, but i'm in no hurry for it.

I think the minis are adorable! I would love to have one, but they are considered livestock and since I live in a big city they aren't allowed. I guess, tho, if I were to pick a single breed of horse I'd probably pick an arab, because they are so beautiful But honestly, like my cats, I am partial to mix breed horses too. But if I could chose between a horse of any breed and a pony (preferably a big pony) I'd pick the pony. The "horse" I loved growing up at the stable I learned to ride at was a 13.3 pony and she was just wonderful - SMART! Tricky, could open gates, was quite the personality, I just loved her.

I have never really liked horses, My uncle has horses and I remember when I was young and we would visit that is all anyone wanted to do in the summer was go for a horse ride and while I did it I hated it, I never thought riding a horse was very fun or comfortable. I think that horse are very beautiful animals especially ponies and miniatures. There is a pony farm just a few miles from where I live and I love taking the kids out there to see them and they are all too cute...but I think I will just continue to like them from a distance =)

i absoluty adore mini horses!! haha i think that they are cute and having one as pet would be great but anymore than that they really have no use in my opinion. i prefer the quarter horses as well, but i also like some the gated horses-- they are very different to ride, but i dont think that id ever own one just because ,pst waurter horses would be better for my discipline of riding
