I get annoyed when someone talks to me while I'm reading. This happens to me all the time in the school library. When it happens,I usually talk to the person because I want to be polite. But because I'm polite, people don't know I'm annoyed. So then do the same thing again.Perhaps in the future I should try not to be so polite!
OH!I can't stand it!

Yeah that is annoying. I usually just mumble something back if i really need to keep reading. Otherwise I will answer them and then comment on something to do with the reading. if they still dont work then You just have to tell them to leave you alone and that you need to finish reading. nicely of course.

Yes, it is surely annoying. That is especially so when we have to study and have only little time to cover a wide subject coverage. If someone talks to me or asks a question, I will answer him courteously. I will try not to expound on what I say, saying "yes" or "no" would do the trick. I'm sure he will get the hint that I don't want to engage in a conversation at the moment. If still he does not get the hint, the next time he starts to talk again, I would no longer answer him or tell him courteously that I will discuss the matter later or the next day as I am still studying and have very little time to do it.
