My Kitchen - One may find some services plugged-in in my Kitchen
Hello my friend riyasam Ji, Usually, when we are in our home-town (Northern Part of our country), where temperature shoots beyond 47 deg to 48 deg Celsius, we take lot of precatuions to get away from this including eating habits ( as narrated by my hubby , in extreame summer in Rajasthan-desert, they used to fill room with icy water and float with bare minimum cloths on body). But thi ssummer, we were insiuthern part of our country, where normal atmospheric temperature dnever went beyond 31-32 deg. May God bless You and have great time.

Hello my friend riyasam Ji, O ! yes, while my hubby stayed, he took us during vaccation time of school to reduce seperation time, and during that time, I have witnessed some people kep their infants in icy cold water maitained at normal temperature oavoid heat-strokes etc. Our country witnesses all weather atmosphere same day at different part of our country. This is also a strange. May god bless You and have a great time.

The elders need to mind their own buisness!! Have as much fun as u can . As u get older it will be less & less so enjoy every fun thing that comes a round. The most fun i have is getting to see my grandson. He is a joy & blessing to me.

That is so naughty of you! Well sometimes we've got to beat the heat with some little foolishness like that! Well I can't think of any foolishness I have done yet this summer so maybe I will try doing same as you do and let me see how my family will react.

I have fun in the summer when I grab the water hose up and spray everyone..lol..even the dogs. If you ever decide to do this..I must warn you...the elders are not going to like being sprayed..just remember..it's for their own good

Oh Riya, This takes me to my childhood when my dad used to stay in the gulf for quite a few years and we would visit him during the summer hols…you know how hot it can be in the gulf and its so dry that bathing a thousand times was not enough! And the water from the overhead tank was literally boiling so we could not pour it just like that. So early in the morning, mom used a big tumbler of water in the deep fridge and by noon it was ice and we would empty it in the buckets before bathing, add running water to it and then bathe LOL I don’t do anything like this nowadays, but mom is incorrigible…she did the same with my son after he came back from school this summer. Not regularly, but on really hot days!

This sounds like a love scene from a B-Grade Bollywood movie! I think the most ewxciting thing I did last Summer was wash my feet. I did it daily of course and it was an absolute blast! This year I'm gonna start washing my legs too.

Since when do I make sense? lol. Summer is so boring for me lately that the most exciting thing I did throughout the season was wash my feet! Next time I'll include a picture then.

i so understand what you're going through. Over here, it's summer all year round. And it can get to my nerves. I can take cold baths up to 5 times a day when the day is really REALLY hot. As for fun wacky stuff? Not much really.
