Hi Meiadc and welcome to my lot. My mother said she potty trained all of us by when we went to the bathroom she took us with her and put us on the toilet and while she was using the bathroom. She said it worked wonders. She said we were all potty trained in just a few weeks. My sister said that is how she potty trained all of her children too. I don't know but if it worked for them it might work for you. Try taking her into the bathroom and sitting her on the potty while you are using the bathroom and tell her when she does finally use the potty that she is such a good girl. Good luck

I have two successfully potty trained kids. lucked out with mine who will be 3 in January also---she sat herself on the toilet on her second birthday, announced she was going potty, and did it. I did not put her back in diapers at home after that day. I just kept taking her to the potty and washed her little underpants. I bought like 10 pair and since i also cloth diaper a baby I just washed them with those. Every day at first. She is now fully day potty trained and has been for a while. Occasionally while playing outside or something she will forget. My son I started having him sit on potty in front of Sesame Street. Eventually the potty moved to the bathroom and he moved to the big toilet. I only had like 3 little underwear for him, I just used those and when he ran out, I'd go back to diapers. Eventually he was staying dry all day. Both of them I took in the bathroom with me when I went and had them sit on the potty if they wanted. We did lots of talk about it. I started young like 18 months or younger with that. depends on your kid. My son was fine with going back and forth, didn't ask for a diaper instead or anything. My daughter I know she would've, so I did not go back to diapers except at night.

We're doing the same thing. I bought my little girl some "big girl panties" and she only gets to wear them after she has used the potty for the first time that day. Until then she wears pull-ups. She's so excited to get to wear the panties she hurries to the potty. And then, if they get wet or dirty, she goes back to pull-ups, so she's obsessed about keeping them clean once she has them on. It works, any kind of incentive.
