Could a lower moral quality teacher cultivate a good quality students?

Hi there, Affirmative, you are very right, teachers should and must be morally upright. Children surely look up on them and if the ideals they share to the children are morally crocked then we can expect that the children's mind will be affected by it. Surely, knowledge and skill are quite important but we should not underestimate the essence of having a good conscience and that my friend is learned along the way, and it would be better if teachers can aid to mold the students conscience. After all the hope of the future are the children's of today.

[b]Believe me, in the U.S., we have a problem with teachers of low moral standards (& none at all), which is one of the many reasons why more & more parents are starting to teach their children at home. Not only are the children safer physically & morally, but they have much higher achievements overall scholastically! This is true no matter what age the child is. Universities do exist which hire the best teachers, but they're fewer in number than those which hire immoral teachers with personal agendas. By & large the system is run by Marxist sympathizers. I feel that teachers should be of the highest possible standards, both scholastic & moral, as they are major influences on their young human charges. Our system has been dismantled by the Left, who aren't interested in teaching their subjects, but in controlling the minds of future generations, trying as they do to corrupt our children to be servants of The State, as Soviet Russia did.
