What are your experiences about PTC's ?

I have recently taking them seriously and i found some sites too good for purchasing refs and upgrading etc...while some of them were so bad that i had to claim for my money by raising dispute at Paypal..and thank god i got my money back....at some places its good to invest where as at others its totally a business of loss...what have you learned and what are your experiences..just share
