If you had a $1 million, how much would you spend for your parents?

I am still under their care and have nothing much to ask. So I suppose I'll save only a small part for myself and spend(not give) rest of it on my parents. I'll give none of it to my siblings I'm jealous of them!

My husband and I have discussed this situation before, and we have talked about how to spend to money if we ever win a million dollars or something like that. We want to kept some of the money and spend it on a house, but we also want to give some money to our families. If we had one million we would probably keep 50%, and give 25% to my family and 25% to my husband's family. We want to give money to our parents, but we also want to give some money to our brothers and sisters and their children.

Well that'd be about £625,000 in GBP I suppose. So i'm not entirely sure. Maybe 10% Each. Which i know it seems a bit selfish but it gives me a good start in life.

If i get this much amount i would see that they would get allthe happens inthe world and try to give them all the hapiness they carved for.

i love my parents. but if i am only the child in the family, i will give 80% of the 1 million dollars for my parents. but, we are 8 in the family, that is why i will just give 50% of the 1 million for my family and 30% for my siblings while 20% remains for me (^^,) it is ok if i have the least, money is not important after all. :)

I'm not sure... I'd probably end up spending more on them *right now* than I would for myself. I can't exactly use it for travelling as I don't have a car. xD But I'd save most of it, and spend just enough for me and my sister to get ice skating lessons.

My parents have money so wouldn't need anything from me... However, we live thousands of miles apart and our family is spread all over so I would plan a trip to DisneyWorld in Florida for the entire family, pay for it all and let my parents enjoy their children grandchildren and great grandchildren! This has actually been a dream of mine for many years. Hopefully I can make it come to pass soon! ColleenNM

I thought of this kind of things before.I am not sure how much money I would give my parents and brother.I want to buy a house to my parents,it will not be very big ,but large enough for them two to live.and I want to help my brother and his wife do some vestment though they have their own job now.maybe I will take out some to give some of my relatives who love me and my family all the time and help us once.For myself i want a house and then I want to do what i want to for a long time but not overindulge

I will give ninety percent to my parents if I really get 1 million, because they always be in my side and I love them. Maybe they need it more than me, because I have not been able to manage expenses or income.

I will share it with my mother... 50-50. So that she can have anything she wants for herself.

Id probably give it all to them so they could do what they pleased. Handeling money is not one of my good traits. I would just save it for any emergency situation, but if you can invest it wisely, Id give it to my parents.

If I have 1 million dollars, I will keep 80%, and then give 80% of the 1 million dollars to my parents. I am not a selfish man. You see, from where I stand, money doesn't mean everything. Much money won't make our parents be happy. If we can spend much time on their daily life and health, they may feel more happy than giving them lots of money. So, as chilren, we should pay more attention to our parents' real happiness. Money is useless or not enough to make our parents enjoy a better life.

If i have $1million... Is that even possible?? Lol anyway nothing is impossible..who knows, If i have that much, maybe i will give to my parents about 10% each too.. And think about the rests later..

I will spend 50%or even more for my parent, they raised me up with comfotable living environment and let me have higher education and lead me to my current success career, it is the time for me to take care of them now and give them all the best. I wish I have the money on one day, I will do it 50% or more to my parent .
