What would you prefer A Dog or a Cat or Bird?

Cats are nice fireheart, but i like dogs also, especially the canine dogs, (like Bolt the super dog), for the birds, well, you can't pet them, for they will fly when you touch them haha~ but some don't. I really suggest you to choose between cat or dogs. but for me it would be canine dog (like Bolt haha~) . and oh~ choose the cute one! hehe cheers!

To your question, I love dogs and cats. I lost two cats over the last five years. I have a five year old dog that is just great! And, one year ago, went and got another dog, he is great to. I just think you can do more with dogs than cats, like play ball with them, take long walks, and they both play real good together. Then to, I don't have to worry about no one breaking into the house. (smile)

We have 4 dogs and 4 puppies right now. We also have 3 cats and 2 kittens. We have 6 birds, too. We just love taking care of them. I felt sorry for the birds, though. They have been inside the cage for years. It was my late husband who purchased the birds. Some are quails and they really gave us eggs for food. I am planning now to free the birds in their natural habitat. Now, for your question, I prefer dogs than cats (sorry for the cats). Dogs are good guards in the house. We are alerted by their barking most especially at night. We seem to already identify the types of barking they do. Dogs also scare thieves and intruders away.

My preference is for a cat. I have always preferred cats even as a child. As an adult I think cats are much less trouble. You don't have to "walk the cat". Cats generally don't get into the neighbors flowers, basement, yard, etc.... and tear things up or dig. Cats don't bark and disturb you or the neighbors. You can leave out food, water and a clean litter box and a cat can stay home alone for a day or two without needing to go to the kennel. Most Cats' dispositions are perfect for indoor living - they don't need to go outside and have lots of room to run. Cats are cheaper to kennel for long vacations. While they do need lots of attention and pampering they don't seem to need as much as the dogs I have had. Cats are clean and don't have to be frequently bathed.

I will prefer a dog over cat and bird. Because dog is a intelligent animal. And you do not have take care of it like you have do with cat and bird. And if you have a big dog it will keep the thieves away from your house.
