We were recently at my daughters in wv visiting and her baby daug (pug/dachshund mix) got run over. Her puppy was her whole life. She was only 8 months old. We all stood in horror as the puppy was run over and killed. It was very hard for me to witness the pain my daughter was going through and also my grandson. I had nightmares about it for a week. The hardest part was I had to leave the next morning to return home to another state..If anywone knows of someone who has the DAUG mix puppies I would love to hear from them. We are looking for another puppy for her. Thanks so much.

Yes MrNiceGuy I know how to spell DOG but the intended spelling of DAUG is the type of dog. It is a hybred dog. It is part dachshund and part pug. If you look up the word DAUG on the internet you will find it...But thanks for the spelling lesson.

I didn't even know what a d-a-u-g was but I think that your post if read thoroughly, pretty much explains it real clear. If the mix in parenthesis didn't clue the reader in than the description of the daug puppy you are looking for should have done it. Beyond all that it is not very nice to read a discussion and respond with nothing of any value other than to pick a person's spelling apart. Mr NICE guy, you really need to remember that not all people are from the states and even some that are do struggle with spelling!! That is not the case here at all. She is in fact spelling the word exactly right. Oops...I'd say you owe the lady an appology.

I'm so sorry to hear of your traumatic experience. It's hard enough when a dog gets hit by a car but when you actually witness it....it is horrible. I still remember clearly watching as our family dog got hit by a car while my brothers and I were waiting for the school bus. A pet is such a part of the family. I don't know anyone who has that particular breed of puppies but I work in the public and will keep my ears open. If I hear of anything I will pop back on here and let you know. Ok? {{{{HUGS}}}}.
