having discovered that a god of thunder is busy on mylot and i have certainly seen a few harpies, which character from mythology do you think you may actually be? naturally all current religions are excluded from this but for example greek, norse, egyptian mythology all provide plenty to choose from.
DISCLAIMER - I AM NOT SAYING THAT ANY CURRENT RELIGIONS ARE MYTHOLOGIES.

People give me strange comments regarding my looks. Besides I have problem in facing people while talking. So I think I would like to be Medusa. As long as no one beheads me...

Hello, Judith - what a great topic. A friend we go on holiday with calls me Medusa, because I take those wiggly things you can use for hair curlers, rather than packing the heated rollers.
However, I'd prefer to be Aphrodite, because all the hot sun in Spain makes you very frisky. Also, if I was the goddess of love, I could make all those handsome Spaniards fall at my feet ... Ooh, I'm getting all worked up now - better go off for a cold shower!

Considering the rare times I start discussions and the low speed I express myself on myLot in the past few months, I would like to see myself as an Ent.
"[...] it takes a very long time saying anything [...], because we do not say anything [...], unless it is worth taking a long time to say, and to listen to." (Treebeard)
More than that, I came to be immune to all sort of rubbish that might go by around me here on myLot. It's been 3 years since I joined the site and it takes more than just a few trolls to take me down.
Making another reference to Tolkien's books, one of the Ents (can't remember if Treebeard or another) says that the trolls have been created by the dark lord to be similar to the ents, but they are only a pale opponent...

Pan. Well, more accurately Dionysus. I'm a (small) God of ecstasy. But since I was Wiccan for quite a while, I refer to him as Pan mostly (see attached pic of my initiation tattoo, the stag representing the masculine ecstatic energy).
Mind you, this Pan is now white haired and somewhat feeble, and mainly only imaginatively ecstatic (as opposed to rampantly), but it's the thoughts that count lol.

Hi jb, I think the Muses. There are nine so that can account for the ever changing personality. Right now as I read through some of the discussions, Thalia, the Muse of Comedy springs to the forefront.
