Sometimes the weather will influence my mood, especially when I see the first snow in the winter I will feel very happy and want to tell this news to my friends, sometimes when the weather is cloudy, I will feel sad. What about you, will you be influenced by the weather?

I'd say my mood is very much influenced by the weather. When it's sunny I feel really positive but when it's dark and cloudy or there's not a inch of sun in the sky i feel really down. Strange that lol

My first reaction to seeing the heading was, "Of course not! Weather can't influence one's mood!" Then I stopped to think. I live in Australia and we have suffered drought for years. Everything is very brown and water supplies are running low, with some dams at less than 20% capacity (Rains earlier this year did replenish many dams). Much as I KNOW we NEED rain, rainy weather, especially after several hours, and sometimes even days, does have the effect of dampening the spirits. Then I think about summer. Our summer temp is usually high 30sC or around the 100F and while this isn't extremely hot, the humidity is VERY high, often 85% - 92% so the perspiration is constantly dripping from the chin, dripping from the forehead into the eyes, and dripping from the hair down the neck and the back. Now that weather makes me want to just flag out under three electric fans and not move!

Very much so , indeed. On a working day, when I wake up in the morning, and if I see the dark clouds through the window, I just wish I don;t have to go to work. I would just want to go back to bed and wrap up again. If I see the clear sky and the sun rising, I would just run out to my car and drive on to my work. Weather very much influences my thoughts every day !

Simply because it is raining when you wake up, doesn't mean you are going to have a bad day!!!! The snow does make it hard to get around but without snow, there could be no snowmen!!! I don't have to say anything about those beautiful sunny days because we all love them!!!

To some extent the weather will influence my mood. When the weather is raining or blowing,I will feel unpleasant. But I have tried to keep a good mood in bad weather, though I was really sick of it.

It certainly does. The first sight of a rain drop makes me feel happy. Rains bring back childhood happy memories. It normally brightens up my mood. We use to play a lot when it rains and it's fun to relive them again.

OH Yes!!! Especially on a cloudy, rainy day I feel very lazy and tired. When it is nice and sunny out I like to go for walks, take my son to the park. One of my friends has the weather disease (forget what its called) like a seasonal depression and it hits her hard. They say so many illnesses and disease concur with weather and mood its amazing.
