How To Make A "Good Buy"?

In going to malls I always have the urge to buy that cute pair of shoes or that fabulous piece of sandals. Lately, I was rein with the idea that anything I buy might be not so important to me, as a result I always think if a certain item to buy is indeed a "good buy" at all. But how you define if you are buying an item reasonably? A hefty price tag would make me run away from the store!haha. Getting some discounts will surely help me decide if I'm going to purchase an item. And I always look for its warranty and quality. The number of its uses is always a factor if an item is a good buy. For example, in buying clothes - I always estimate how many times I can wear it, if it is very essential and not just for the sake of fashion I will go for it. How about you? How do you make "wise decision" in buying things? whether for clothes, electronics and food. Happy Mylotting!

Usually i only buy things which i really want and needed in my urgency. But of course, such mind can't be applied when we want to buy clothes. Clothes has long term period of usage, and can be use for many times. Recently i bought lots of clothes because i only have few chance for shopping due to my crowded working schedule. So when i have one or two days for free, i will go out for shopping. Usually on the first day, i will only hunting without buying so many things, and i will rethink on the night about which thing i want to have and i will ask my boyfriend for sharing this idea about other place for shopping for a similar thing with hope he knows a good place with good price, which i hope it could be cheaper on the first place. His idea always good so far because he knows how to choose a good thing with a good price at a good place. Good luck for you and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

hello dian, I also ask my friends or siblings if such thing is worth buying. I think getting some points with people we know will help us better decide if we need to buy something we like. Happy mylotting too!

Personally, I believe that purchases can be "good buys" when they serve an immediate purpose and are reasonably priced. I have bought tons of hardware and tools that are on sale and are incredibly priced, so low than the regular amount. I know that although they have no immediate use they might come handy in time. So now I have accumulated lots of stuff that may come handy sometime and don't have a real urgent use. Later I will discover in another sale that there are more newer models coming which are much better, quality wise, and a lot cheaper too. I am always attracted to cut-down sales that I bought so much that I don't exactly use. So usage and price come together next time I go bargain hunting.

I always weigh up how many times I will wear something before I buy anything.Normally I buy clothes for the season it is,fairly cheap then it they last the summer or winter I am happy with that. All our money goes on clothing our son who is sixteen and doing his A-levels as long as he has what he needs we don't much bother about ourselves. He is shooting up like a rocket at the moment so his clothes normally last about six weeks or less, then we have to replace them all as he grows out of them.He is nearly six foot now so we hope he will stop growing soon.!

Hi craicha: exactly. As most of you has probably experienced, sometimes i felt i have bought something just because i find it ver important in the moment i bought but it was really not necessary as i thought it was in the moment i bought it.

hi danity kane: you have mentioned some of the most important things you have to think before buying something. For me, the most important thing is if what you're buying is good enough, if it's really an important thing you want to buy or you can wait and decide to buy this stuff later and if you really can not replace it for something else with the same quality.

hi dods..hehe.. expensive items doesn't necessarily mean "worth buying". It maybe made with some imported materials but it cannot guarantee full satisfaction in terms quality and usefulness. But it always up to a person's decision if he/she likes buying things based on its tag price!

The Highest Price tag isn't always the best clothes u can mix up the cheaper clothes to make a result just as good if not better

hi danitykane first of all I decide whether or not I need this then I think about the quality of the fabric, the price, the fit and the style,is it classic, can I wear it for more than a year and not look weird, and also the price. If its discounted that encourages me more, does the color flatter me? With food I look for sales of my favorite foods and brands, and do not buy more than I can easily use unless its something I can freeze.Electronics I let my son help there.

My decisions process is do i really want it, can I afford it, if I use a credit card it is something I can pay off quickly, if none of these things apply then I don't buy it.
