it's seems that,muslim's god has made a greater success than christian's god:P
so,do u believe in god?

I believe in God,because I know that he created the earth and the sky and everyone of us, and if it was not for him we would not be around, and I know he is the one who answers our prayers and helps us when we need it and when we ask,and he forgives us when we mess up as long as we ask him to,and he is the one who gave his only son on the cross to save us from our sins, and he is the one who will call us up one day,to live with him in eternal paradise when our time on earth is done, because our bodies might die,but our souls will live on forever in heaven.

susan,
you are funny!
I'm a Muslim, so I believe in the Almighty God and Submit to him and accept his instructions and advices.
We Muslims don't believe that there is a Muslim God, Christian God or Hindu God etc. There is only ONE Almighty GOD, who created the mankind (not just Muslims :)) created the universes and all that exists. He sustains everything and giving provisions to every living things.
God is worthy of worship; if we want to thank the creator for the air we breath in and the water we drink, our words will not be enough to thank him.
So it's not in the way as you said, but, many people not realizing their creator and the mercy and provisions given by the creator to them, instead many are just declining the creator.
Peace.

If you are not a Muslim, you will not believe in hell, then why do you believe in hell and not believe in Islam? Not logical.
The condition to attain the Paradise is, Believe in our Creator and sustainer of everything, follow the instruction manual of the creator, do good deeds, and advise each other with patience and truth.
Who ever do not follow these, God may punish them. It is up to him.

I'm a christian and, yes, I believe in God...so does my entire family and most of my community. There are six churches in our little town and the parking lots are filled every Sunday. Maybe you should increase the parameters of your survey to include folks living in the southern part of the U.S. We're very confident that God exists and that He loves us.

Of course I believe in God, he created all things. I am a Christian, and any Christian that does not say yes they believe in God, are Christians by name only and not by believe. I like to read the Bible rather then go to church. I hear the Koran is a good read as well, I think after I get through the Bible from cover to cover, I may just try that out to see how it is different as well as how it is similar.
Cheers.

I personally don't believe in God and regarding your discussion, muslims lead a life more strict than any religion ever, they become so strict that religion has brainwashed them and it is hard to find an atheist who was a muslim before. And christian is a less strict and has less rules, And by th way, i heard christianity and islam were one religion at that time, but disagreements over the arrival of jesus has led to their separation. Muslims believed Jesus was just a messenger but christians believed that jesus was god's son. But i don't believe in anything.

YES, I believe in God!!! He has been there for me when I felt all alone, he has blessed me with wonderful friends and a beautiful home. Without him I would have nothing. Right now I am praying to him for help with Steve finding a job, he has always answered me before and I have to believe he will answer me now. I feel sorry for people that don't have that faith, God has pulled me through me times.

Many believe that there is God but the so called christians lack faith. Many called themselves christians but actually they are not because they do not know if they are saved or not. The real christians are those people who accepted JESUS as their Lord and Savior and are following the teachings of the Holy Bible. Thus, they feel the assurance of being saved or the salvation of God.

I don't know where you get this opinion from, but I wonder if you are assuming that all people in a certain part of the world, or all non Muslims (or other religions) are Christians? Do you mean 'Christian' as in 'person who lives in a so-called Christian country' or do you actually mean Christians, as in followers of Christ?
If you ask someone who comes into the first category, then they may or may not say they believe in God, they may have their own different beliefs or whatever. If you ask someone who considers themselves a follower of Christ, which is really what a Christian is, they will be pretty definite about believing in God, I think you'll find!
So, yes, I am a Christian, and I believe in God. As He created the universe, including me, and you, I think He's been fairly successful, don't you?! :0)

Hi susan i dont share your opinion, you are generalzing in both cases. I dont think all muslims would respond like that and also i dont think all christians would respond like that. I think its a mistake what your saying for the reason i have stated. As for myself im catholic and i do believe in God.
