I dont know if this is the right area to be posting this. but im going to give it a shot. I recently purchased a home on contract for my first house. It (although is livable) does need some repairs. I can do them myself, but im in a low income situation (job) at the moment and still looking for a 2nd to help with the repairs. but as winter is closing is i would like to get them started asap. Well my question is this. Does anyone know where is the best resource to find grants for this type of venture. tried grants.gov but from what i see. it just gives me a list of grants im not able to obtain. A place to go to ask, an office? county clerk. This is something i have never ventured in and while im looking still trying to find an answer, i'd figure i'd give this place a shot. any useful information will be appreciated. Thanks

I suggest that you look on the Internet for some information about home grants. I know in my home country that poorer people can get grants to help them with heating and insulating their home. If you don't find out the right information I recommend that you ask your local council. Good luck.
