With the development of science and technology, there are more and more forms of transport that people can use in different situation.Compared to cars and buses, what do you think of the bicycles.Do you go to school or go to work by bicycle?Do you think bicycle will be replaced and be outdated forever?

Hi friend, bicycle always have its own importance and still some persons are using it as their major vehicle for transport. It is not an outdated vehicle and it is the base for all other vehicles. In my school days i used my bicycle to go to school and never forget about those old memories

Hi vincyk, I live in the outskirt of a small town. Here all the shops, stalls, restaurants as well as the market and etc are centered on the same area. The traffic here is not congested as well, so other than motorbikes, many inhabitants here are still dependent on their bicycles. We could see many people cycling to the morning bazaar or wet market daily. It is less air pollution for sure if more people use bicycles. Cycling is a good form of exercise as well that could keep our body healthy and fit
Here still many secondary students go to school by bicycles whereas some go by motorbikes. Some senior grades pupils from primary school cycle to school as well. We could also see some parents send their primary school kids to school on their bicycles. We do have a bicycle at our house. I sometimes cycle to the nearby grocery to purchase necessaries. If we go to town we usually would drive our car as the downtown is 5 km or so away from our place. My working place is about 7 km away from my house so I have to go by car
Have a nice day and happy posting

I think the bicycle is getting outdated because technology has provided us with faster and more comfortable modes of transportation. For me, I wish I could go to work by bicycle. The problem here in our country/city is that there are a lot of crazy drivers, the roads are very busy, and it is really unsafe. I love riding the bicycle and if only I can, I wish I could go to work with it. I guess as technology advances, the bicycle might progress to just being a recreational activity instead of being a fun a activity and mode of transportation.

I like everything in relation to cycling! I'm an enthusiastic cyclist myself and do this on a regular basis in order to keep fit. I'm pretty sure that the common bicycle will remain in existence forever, it's just such a pleasurable activity and it would be a real shame if it was to disappear suddenly. I generally cycle for keep fit purposes only. I'm not working at the present time but if and when I return to work I will seriously consider commuting to work on a daily basis and this will set me up for the day ahead then! Andrew

They had a commercial the other day with a new motorized bicycle. I couldn't believe it. The kids wanted one as soon as they saw it, but like I told them, Bikes were made so that we excercise, these new bikes take all of the keeping in shape stuff out of it. I think bikes will always be around.

Here in Australia, with an emphasis on physical exercise and on reducing pollution, the bicycle is making a come-back in popularity. We have many kilometres of bike-ways to make riding safer, and a large percentage of the city population is now riding their bikes to work. Several work places even provide shower facilities and change rooms for bike-riders.
I'm sure the bike will never disappear.

I think that these days many people can interested in making less pollution for the environment that we live in. I used to go to work on my bike and I got to ride a lovely countryside like route. I cost me very little money, gave me fresh air and got me really fit. Going by bike is fine for short journeys. I think a train is the next best for the environment type of transport. The bike has been updated over the years. I was once lent a penny farthing bike for a day when my class was pretending to be Victorian children. I don't think the bike will become updated.
