Some people go to sleep in the night with the same dress that they were wearing throughout the day. Some people change to night dress and go to sleep. I wear saree and blouse during the day time and before going to bed, I change to nightie, i.e. long gown like thing and go to sleep. This is loose and comfortable while taking sides in the bed. It does not pull here and there and moves with our movements. Do you change the dress before going to bed?

Hi Buchi, When I come back home from work or outside I will put on t-shirt and pants which I'm used to wear at home. All these casual wears at home make me feeling so comfortable and convenient as well When going to work or attending any occasion, I wear attire that looks rather decent. I like to put on t-shirt and jeans when going out.
Yeah, before going to bed I usually would put on clothes which are more comfortable . they are not the type of beautiful and attractive pajamas! They are only old t-shirt which is loose and soft as well as a pair of loose long trousers too. I feel really comfy to put them on and could fall asleep fast!
Happy posting!

That’s why I always prefer to take the trouble as well as to consume some extra time to sew my own sleeping long trousers. It’s made from cotton cloth. No zip no button except one pocket. It’s with elastic waistband. Though it is rather simple, it’s really soft, loose as well as comfortable. During hot sunny season I sometimes even sleep with old and soft t-shirt and short pants

Oh that is really good. So you can stitch also is it? Your point is notable, without button and zip it will be very comfortable.

I will change my clothes for bed if I go out that day. Right now I don't have a job but hope to be called tomorrow for one that I have had lined up for quite some time. Rumor has it they may call tomorrow. In any case, I would change my clothing to night clothing if I was wearing other clothing... It's much more comfortable. Usually I wear a two piece pajama set. My husband and I live with his parents so two piece set is better to wear, though if we lived alone I would wear a long shirt and underwear which is much more comfortable.

Best of Luck for your new job. Very true. If in-laws are there, our dress code will be different. Good daughter-in-law you are. You respect their sentiments.

Yes it is only proper, and I would not want to disrespect them. They have done a lot for my husband and I.

True. Day dress will be tight and gathers dust also. If you change your dress in the night, you will feel fresh and loose fittings are just good for a good sleep.

Hi Buchi,
Most of the days, I do change my dress when I go to sleep. I do not wear my day clothes, which are in a very good condition to bed. I change to more comfortable, loose clothes while going to sleep.

Hai balasri, thanks for uploading another image. The first one looked like a pant. So Sarong is nothing but Lungi in India. My husband and son wear it.

Thanks for uploading the sarong photo image. It looks like loose pants. Certainly it must be a convenient dress to sleep.

Hello there.
Yup, I definitely change clothes before going to bed for the following reasons:
1. For comfort. I change with a pair of pajamas and usually unstrap my upper underwear.
2. I don't use the same clothes I had during the day which had been used for working or playing or cooking or clothes used in the park. I don't want dust or sweaty odor that will be on my bed because I don't change my beddings everyday. I tend to maintain it clean because I will lie on the very same bed for the next nights.
I clean myself also before going to bed for the same reasons and for hygiene.
Good day.

Very lovely avatar jahernandezrivas, Jeans are not at all convenient to go to sleep. As you say, sleeves are also an irritating thing to sleep. I too change my full sleeves blouse to half sleeves nightie before going to bed.

Its actually uncomfortable for me to sleep with clothes or pijamas on so I sleep with nothing just my underwear.
Now, only if Im extremely tired that I take naps threw out the day that I can say I sleep with the same clothes, at night, for the short time that I sleep anyway cause I go to work at 11:30, just the undies.

Im one of them. I cant stand the cold. But my country aint THAT cold at night. Its nice and cool actually, its rainy season here so its tropical.
Now, at work, thats a different story. There´s an air conditioner there that freezes like a meat hanger. I have to take a whole bunch of coats and thick blankets to feel warm.

If you wear the same dress, you will feel tired and fatigued. Whereas if you change your dress, you will get sound sleep.

I usually just wear what I was wearing the day before. I'm a teen female. I only change into something else if I'm wearing jeans or something uncomfortable (which I don't wear often ;-)) Anyway, taking a shower in the day/early morning is more of my cup of tea. *star* good question.

In summer, I usually take a bath at night before I go to bed. So the clothes are clean and loose. while in cold days, I will change my outer clothing to nightclothes for my outer clothing make me uncomfortable.

Even I take bath on summer before going to sleep. It is a wonderful feeling after a good shower bath with no outside smell and applying some nice powder when you lie on bed, sleep will come immediately.

I don't wear a saree unless it's a special occassion. But I do change clothes before going to bed....usually I take a bath before I change. I usually wear a nightie or a pajama and T-shirt to bed. Sometimes, I also wear a big loose T-shirt.But I know some people who do not change before going to bed

Hi there!
I always change my clothes to more comfortable Kurta and Pajama before plunging on to bed. I just cannot sleep in the bed with my trousers and shirt on. I need to have some very comfortable, light and preferably less clothes on my body, while sleeping.

Some people take bath in the morning and some in the evening. So people who take bath in the morning, will simply wash face, hands and legs and change to night dress. People who do not take bath in the morning, will take bath in the night and change the dress. But there are also people who take bath both the times. Morning when they are going out, they want to be fresh without any odour and again go to bed being fresh.

Hello buchiji
When i am in home i wear just a lungi and sandow, this i also wear when i sleep, it is more comfortable than paijama-kurta; my wife does dot wear maxi or nighty, but saree only, though it is washed and fresh, no more smell of sweats or kitchen stuff..
Best of luck.
