I was shocked when I read this article and I want to share this with everyone,,,"Lina Medina is the youngest mother in history, or at least the youngest confirmed mother. She was born in Peru in 1933. When she was just five-years- old, Her parents brought her to the emergency room after noticing her stomach was growing abnormally in girth. At first, doctors thought she might have a tumor, but upon testing she was found to be seven months pregnant. The next month and a half was documented and photographed by several doctors, which has ruled this out as an urban myth. She gave birth to a healthy six pound baby boy via c-section on May 14, 1939, ironically, Mother‘s Day. There is some conflicting information about just when Lina started her menstruation. It is clear she had precocious puberty, but one medical journal by Dr. Edmundo Escomel documented Lina’s first menstruation was around 8 months old, while another journal documented it at age 2 ½. An ovary biopsy, taken during the c-section, showed that Lina’s ovaries were the same as a mature females. Her father was arrested for rape and incest charges, but was ultimately released for lack of evidence. Lina never claimed that her father molested her and she never disclosed who the father might be."
