The Used or My Chemical Romance?

My Chemical Romance

I love both of the bands but I have to say My Chemical Romance for they have influenced me more than The Used has.

im going to have to say the used on this one only because my chemical romance wouldnt be where they are today without them. when my chemical was just a tiny band that no one knew about the used took them on tours with other big bands. i saw my chemical open for used years ago. so in my opinion if it wasnt for the used taking my chemical romance out for bigger tours they wouldnt be where they are today.

I just love both bands. They're the best emo rockers out there. It's really hard to choose only one from them.

its hard to compare the used is post hardcore MCR is emocore its differerent from each other

definitely the used!!! i love this band! i love the fact that they are not so commercialized like my chem. i dont know if my chem will be on the top forever or if its just one moment. the used is more talented ..we both of them but i can relate more to the used. plus im in love with berth's voice!

I'm not sure. I like each band in their own right. At the minute, I probably prefer The Used, because I wasn't a big fan of The Black Parade. The Used are a lot more consistent in their style. The collaboration they did on 'Under Pressure' was incredible though, they should team up more... if they were still friends.

I can never choose...simply because NEITHER band is EMO both are within the 'punk rock' genre of music so get it right... but The Used has always been my favorite because on any aand every album [lol] they have sounded the same and you are able to tell who it is... but branden has left idk now... lol... Now on to My Chemical ROmcance... I just lost my love for them when the new album, The Black Parade came out... it just doesn't sound at all like the first two albums so yeah that made me sooo sad but yeah i cant choose

omg. ther is no way to choose which band is better. they are both awesome bands and i personaly cant choose which one is better. they are both equally good.

I'd have to ultimately say The Used. Both bands are influential and have climbed their way up the popularity ladder when starting from just a small, committed fan base. My Chem is more the flavour of the month at the moment with their new CD... I haven't really heard the Used in terms of commercial popularity lately. However, The Used simply have more range, talent, and ability as a band than My Chemical Romance. To be honest, I'd rather listen to My Chem, and I prefer their music, but they definitely are not the 'better' band of the two.

i like the used better than my chemical romance.

I prefer My Chemical Romance over The Used. I think the main reason is that I can't stand The Used's vocalist's voice. It is a little scratchy for my taste.
