Anyone go paintballing with a ghillie suit?

I juts went for the second time last weekend and there were a couple people on the other team wearing ghillie suits. I didn't know they were allowed. I knew that snipers used them but I didn't know that recreational paintball organizations allowed them... seems like it kinda makes it unfair for the people who are just there for the first time and are just trying to get a feel for the game and not be all super hardcore about it. So anyway, I thought maybe they were just home made (from people that had too much time on their hands) but then I found a few places you can order them online ( http://www.ghilliesuitstore.com/ ) and it blew my mind. So do any of the people here who go play paintball actually wear these? Or have you ever seen anyone wear one? Did you think it was fair or did you think he was basically cheating?

Ghillie suits are terrible if your playing in dense brush as you get stuck VERY easily. but if the field is relatively open and grassy (or lots of leaves but little branches), then they work well! it really comes down to your playing style. I own a paintball field and I have had multiple "ghillie" players--some played good with the suits, others would have done WAY better without one. A cheap alternative to a ghillie suit that my brother actually tried is to glue or sew a large piece of fishing net on parts of a jacket or a pair of pants, then, simply stuff it with grass and leaves from the environment in which you intend to play in! Sometimes you have to experiment a little to get it looking just right... and, yes, you will have to "re-stuff it" every once in a while. But it's relatively inexpensive and very practical.

I've played paintball only 2 times with friends and nobody was wearing that. I think it's pretty cool and you have to be extra careful. I don't consider it cheating.
