People are really sick now a days. Somebody broke into the car of our friend while she was inside the church. She parked her car in the dark side of the parking area of our church and the sad thing is she left her purse inside. When she was about to go home she found out that her car window was broken and she lost her purse with debit card, credit card and other identification cards, drivers license etc.. good she has no cash in it and she was able to call immediately her back and shut off all her cards. The police arrived almost an hour.. Oh my!! and they just investigate and that's all. The robber might be frustrated because he was able to get maybe the $5 bill she has in her purse. Good that most people today have no cash but cards. But the damage is really great!!!People are sick today.. they are not scared to damage things just to satisfy their selfish motives.

Yes, people have become more and more desperate and with the gap between the rich and the poor widening by the day, some guys would stop at nothing just to get some cash.
Its good that your friend carried no cash…as it is she’s gonna lose money in repairing the car…on top of that if she had to lose hard cash too, that would have been very sad indeed.

Wow that sucks people can be such jerks and stupid. I hate people who steal because there to lazy to get a job but what are you going to do. If your friend had any credit cards on her make sure she calls to cancel them so the thief does not use it which is the first thing I would do if my wallet got stolen.

Hello Bebs. It is really bad with those important cards stolen by the thief. I could see how depressed your friend was feeling when she discovered this because I had a similar case when I had my wallet stolen while I was waiting for a bus at the local bus station. I was so upset when I discovered it and even reported it to the local police, but in vain. I have never got it back. But I have learned something that I should be more careful of my property in a public place. Have a good day, friend.

Yes, am sure she had mixed emotions at that time. She said she has a big amount in her card because she is about to be married in the next month and she has donation money for her wedding in that card.. Oh!!! good that she was able to cut it off before the thief was able to do something with it. People are really desperate of money now.

People have no conscience stealing in a church, that is to bad, i hope she is able to recover from her loss, next time, he should park close to the light.

Hope it wasn't a churchgoer that did it, most church's around here have surveillance cameras in the parking lot.
Speaking of debit cards there's a rumor that soon banks will start charging for using them ugh...

People are sick today, they aren't afraid to do anything anywhere. Even at church your things aren't safe. I think people have just lost respect for everything and anything, I don't know why. Guess I won't be leaving my purse in my car anymore at church, I usually put it where no one can see it if they looked in.

Where I live the police and insurance companies encourage car owners not to leave our valuables in the car. The lastest that I had heard on the radio is that they are trying to encourage us not to leave holders for GPS systems and phone holders in view of the passer by. They say that seeing all the holders in the car would encourage the would be theives.
There was one day at the local shops, a lady left her bag in the car but took her purse. She was only gone a few minutes and she found her car broken into and her bag gone. No one even saw it happen.
So it does pay not to leave valuables in the car or even personal information.

That's right!! it teaches me a great lesson not to leave my bag in the car even if it is lock. My husband always told me not to leave my bag in the car because it will invite the thieves thinking that it has something in there.. but most of the times I am not listening to him. I keep on leaving my bag inside because I am confident no body will broke in since it is in church parking lot.. but it made me think last night that, he is right. It is not really safe..
