Do you have any leftover tips? Always try and use your leftovers. If having spaghetti one night don't mix the sauce with the noddles because now you can re-use the noddles for a stir fry meal with chicken. If you have chicken left over then add in some noddles and some stir fry and your ready for another night of chicken. It's important not to waste food as it is expensive to buy groceries and if you use your leftovers in the same week as you made them then they are still good to use and not to waste down the garbage.

I have leftover tips for just about everything. I live alone and there are many dishes you just can´t make in small quantities. Many tiems I invite friends but still I have leftovers. I don´t throw away any thing. The easiest way to recicle little leftovers for me is to make omelettes. Leftover rice (small quantity) can be turned into a wonderful omelette with some chives and cheese). If there is more, I put some lentils to soak. I love to add rice to lentils.
Some types of pasta can be turned into salads and eaten cold. I put a lot of veggies (green beans or peas, corn, sweet pepper, anything I have) and mayo.
A roasted chicken has many lives in my house. Even the bones are recicled into a broth for a veggie cream.
Happy posting!

I usually try to eat up my leftovers but if i get real tired of them i keep a bowl in the freezer & will put them in there. when i go to make soup I have alot of the veggies to go in the soup & a variety to. It comes in pretty handy.

My leftovers usually end up on omelettes, just add eggs, salt and pepper, cheese (if you use it) and you can recyle almost anything as an omelette.
I have found our fish leftovers are great in omelettes, especially if joined with sweet pepper leftovers, it's weird, but really great.

I live alone so I have lots of leftovers when I cook. I freeze most of them, except those that have a lot of water in them like potatoes and watermelon. I keep masking tape and a pen in the drawer next to the stove. That way I automatically write down what's in the package and the date I froze it. I seem to cook more in the winter--freezing the leftovers. Then in the summer when it's hot and I don't want to turn on the stove or oven, I eat up what's in the freezer.
Fried rice is one of my favorite ways to use leftovers and I've heard Chinese people say that it's a traditional way for them to use leftovers at home. You can put so many things with the rice..bits of vegetables, meats, etc.

In my family, trush can only exists for the skin of he fruit, the plastic, the glass etc. Food is never wasted. First of all we have 3 dogs and 42 cats. If there is a leftover then they consume it gladly. Then, both my mother and me, we cook almost enough for lunch and dinner. Not more. If by any chance there are leftovers, then we create recipies. With meat and chicken, you can create great omelets by only adding some coloured peppers, fresh tomato cut in cubes and grinned cheese. Of course with the same you can create great sauce for your spaghetti. And don't forget that if you enter these ingredients in the multi-cut machine, you can have excellent stuffing for canelloni. After stuffing them, put in some milk, tomato sauce, grinned cheese and cook in the oven. I will find more recipies that we hava done and were a success and I'll come back...

One way to use leftover vegetables and meat is to keep a container in the freezer and add those things to it until it's full enough for a meal, then cook it all together, add some spices and/or tomato sauce. It makes a really good soup or stew and each time it's a little different. You can mix meats, too. Chicken, pork and beef go well together in a stew.
Also, puree leftover vegetables and use them in meatloaf or to make a base for soup or a casserole.
There's really no end to the way you can use up leftovers.

I am newly married and as I am still experimenting with cooking, it so happens that most of the dishes I cook, mostly meat, chicken and the like, often come excess and what I do is use these leftover chiken or meat to cook something equally delicious. Mostly I use it up as some filling for burgers, sandwiches and I also make pies and other savory dishes. Wraps and soups are also my huby's favorites and I use leftover meat in them.
Why don't you try out this page for some great leftover recipes you can easily try and believe me almost all of these recipes are simply delicious!

i never throw away any left over foods, we just put it inside the refrigerator and cooked it inside the oven so that it can be eaten the next day, sometimes we just make another recipe for it.

I have many ideas for left overs for I try to use all mine and even if I don't they do not go to waste for I fed them then to my dogs. Here's one of my ideas for left over chicken. Get a baking pan shred, chop or whatever then chicken then take put it in the pan throw left over vegs such as corn and green beans then add maybe some rotel or cream of chicken/mushroom along with left over noodles or fresh add some cheese stir in a few mixed eggs and bake. Glosh chicken leftover special. I take stuff never the same and do this all the time they love it and is usually all gone if there is just a small amount left it goes out to the dogs to enjoy too. I spoil my dogs and helps to save on the cost of dog food too. I also give to neighbors and friends. Multi uses for left overs really.

i usually do that because its not good to threw food, there's a lot of people who dont have anything to eat.For the spaghetti noodles, i use for a soup, i cut the noodles string, put with vegetables like cabbage, carrots, put hotdog, unions, chicken meat, butter, with milk, water, boiled them all and you will have soup. Also you can do the baked spaghetti just put cheese in the top of sphagetti and baked it so will have baked spaghetti already.Try to experiment that something you can eat.Always remember if you have leftover put the fridge with clean container and cover it, but take your leftover for a month because it will have bacteria and molds.
