I have no blogs but I have read lots of posts about blog marketing.
As I know, the key points to start a blog are writing something you are good at so you can write day after day and second, you must insist on your blog writing. Any blog with hundred of posts and update actively will get good traffic. Of course, content is important.
Starting a blog is a hard work for me to do right now because if you want to do it well, you must treat it as a long term task.

I did this. Some of mine have referrals, some not. My main thing was I wanted to help others and compile a list so they didn't have to weed and search like I did. If you want an example go to www(dot)theivorywolfe(dot)blogspot(dot)com. blogspot is good if your looking for free blog. Make sure to be honest with your viewers though. At first traffic is slow. create a twitter account for your business and a facebook account for it too. My site will be a year old in march next year. It's good to try to have pics of some checks you made on your blog...just black out personal info like address n such.
