I would think so, one day in the future. Elvis has a stamp so I'm sure Michael will too. Especially since he was such a giving person and try to make the world a better place, with music, songs, love, and generous contributions to a ray of charities.

Thanks for the response! If THE KING can have a stamp why not the KING OF POP?

I really would not be surprised if this suddenly took place! He was the king of pop afterall! Some people may have reservations about this but I think that it's a good idea! There would certainly be an increase in sales of stamps and they would then become a collector's item. The family may ask for this to be carried out but you never know what is around the corner. I think they will have him on a postage stamp some day also. They usually do that when someone famous passes away. I think it is awful to wait until they pass on to do it though.

I think there is a very good chance that will happen. He was a pop icon and many around the world loved him and admired his talent. Elvis has been on many postage stamps over the years so I can't possibly see how Michael Jackson would not some how inspire the post office to create stamps of images of him. He is someone who will not soon be forgotten.

I think they will have both a young Michael Jackson stamp and an older one to commemorate him. I say if they can give The Simpsons a stamp for being on tv over 20 years now, why now Michael Jackson, who came into our lives as part of the Jackson 5 and then one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

I think two styles would be be good to commemorate MJ! I remember when he was a little kid and the lead singer of the Jackson 5! MJ was the King of Pop and truely one of the greatest entertainers to ever live! No doubt about it!

It wouldn't shock me at all. Alot of "legendary" celebrities have been remembered through the stamp.

Absolutely! I mean, why not? Many great legendary performers have been on a stamp and with the debt of his estate, I'm sure royalties from memorbilia will have that debt cleared up in no time.
