It's been a long time that we celebrate holloween with all those holloween parties around.
Did you do the same thing this year?

I didnĀ“t celebrate Halloween. But my house was taken by little weird beings. First my daughter came with a 5 year old tiger that called me granma and went for trick or treat at my neighborhood because he said that it was better than his. I wondered later if he would be a business man when he grew up.
While the tiger was ringing bells, a lot of witches, demons, angels, you name it, came by with some grown ups with cameras in their hands.
At one time Lola, my dog, decided that she also wanted to go with the goblins and the bunch of them had to freeze so that I could persuade her to come back home. Fortunatly, the aliens were not afraid of dogs in spite of Lola being a big German Shepheard.
We had coffee with my daughter between the ringing of my bell and my scoldings to Lola.
I would not say it was a party but I got as tired as if I had danced all night.
How about you?

That experience is really fun..
Me? I didn't celebrate Holloween as other people do.
I just hang out with my officemates and drink a little in the bar. I like the ambiance of the bar it is holloween of course and the people are very cool..

This year my husband and I put on some masks and got on the motorcycle and headed over to a friend's house and sat around visiting. The masks were more of fun and protection like wearing goggles while on a bike. In Arizona there is no helmet law so the masks worked out real well and at least we had fun making people look twice as we rode by. We hung out for a while, but by 8pm we were back on the motorcycle and headed for home to watch some dvd's of the romantic kind. We don't get into celebrating halloween at all. It was a lot of fun when we were kids and when we had children around the house, but now that we have an empty nest we just find it to be just another day to go out and enjoy ourselves, but not get too serious about it.

i didn't really celebrate. i just stayed home doing simple "spooky" stuff such as watched a horror tv show, played games with halloween themes, ate dinner as usual, but dinner was a bit special not because of the occasion, just that mom cooked a lof of food and had something else for us than the usual ... friends came over too

No I didn't I was planning to go to a Halloween parties, but I promise my sister to go to trick or treating. It was nice that she had so much candy that night. It felt good to make my sister happy for once. I wasn't disappointed that I didn't had a chance to go to a party. Probably next year, so I'll wait and see what's going to happen then.
