How impressive is Cliff Lee's 2009 postseason run to you? He's posted a 0.54 ERA through three postseason games, with a scheduled start tomorrow night (November 2). Batters are hitting just a mere .171 off of him during this run. He's allowed just 20 hits in 33.1 innings pitched. This is one of the best performances in Major League Postseason history. What's your take on it?

Seeing him in Cleveland, I knew what type of pitcher he was. He's a guy who can get the job done. I'm not happy with the fact that Lee was developed in Cleveland just to be given away. In regards to his post-season run, he has done an incredible job without question.

Lee's pitching Game 5 tonight. They didn't put him on 3 day's rest. I don't know if they would take a shot at him going at Game 7 on 2 day's rest. That would be crazy. I'd like it to go 7 and see New York but New York is going to win and then the outrage can begin on how super heavyweight markets seem to win almost every year or make the playoffs every year.

You are correct, it would be two days rest. Game 5 is tonight, Game 6 is on Wednesday and Game 7 would be on Thursday, I'm pretty sure. Would you trust a Joe Blanton in a Game 7??? I would much rather see if Cliff Lee could do it himself on just two days rest, rather than Joe Blanton regardless of how much rest he has had.

Hi SMkoking, I watched him play in the first game of the World Series and was completely amazed by his control and his attitude. The best was the two plays he made catching the pop-up, and when he caught the ball behind his back. The Yankees didn't know what to do. Even Manuel said he knew Cliff Lee was good but not that good! Completely blew my mind. I absolutely agree it was the best performance in Major League Post Season history. I'm excited for tonight's 3rd game...Go Phillies!
