hello, liu!I'm Chinese, too!Welcome to mylot!and it's a good place to improve your english here, because you can learn how foreigners use this language in actual life ,which is a valuebal supplement to your english textbooks. As for grammmer,it is definitely necessary to spend a lot of time and energy to learn it well.So don't be impatient, making efforts step by step, and you'll get your english improved.Hope my suggestion are helpful to you!

Hi! There is a site that helps hook people up; either livemocha.com or mylanguageexchange.com
I have heard livemocha.com is better, so you might want to try there. Additionally, you can post on myLot more often and we can help you :]

From personal experiences in learning any language. It is much easier if you repeatedly use the language often. Correcting your errors on the way. Have a dictionary handy should you come up with any terms you don't quite understand and a thesaurus that helps you express yourself better. This is just for reading and writing. With speaking fluently try listening to audio material or any one you prefer and simply attempt to talk like how they talk. Be careful not to pickup too much slang or bad habits if they possess any. There is different accents of English from different areas in the world. Much like the different regional dialects in China. If you wish to just focus on reading and writing then this is great place to start right here with myLot. You are even rewarded for learning. :D Now that is a bonus and offer you wouldn't want to reject.

Here is a online Chinese-English dictionary I would recommend if you have not yet heard about. It should help you greatly in your English studies.
