As a student or a professional individuals, we have different impressions toward our teachers: attitudes, habits, motivations, favorites, etc.
For me, I like the teachers who have sense of humor. I appreciate also for those who share their experiences or their life stories. Teachers are really our second parents.
They are always there when we need help...
How about you? What are the things that you usually like your teacher?
I wait all of your responses!

Hi Pede_22, I liked teachers that challenged me throughout all of my education. I can remember them because they made an effort to make me a better student, a better person. There were some teachers that I remembered that made such a difference in my life, that encouraged and allowed me to realize the potential I have in myself. I m grateful for the education that I have. There was one professor in college that was so tough but he really made us think and not just memorize information but to use that information and draw our own conclusions. He encouraged us to not just follow but to lead in our thoughts. Those are the teachers I think make the best impression. They do it with compassion, if we fail, and encouragement to try again, praise when a job is well done. When one looks back on their life, they can realize what a difference teachers made in theirs. Thanks for bringing up the topic so I do remember them!

Wow, your such a good person linamchina.
You've been recalling your teachers' impression and it's so nice to hear that.
Anyway, teachers really are very important in enhancing our lives. They made their efforts just to provide us the basic foundations of education in our lives. Without them, I think we couldn't exist in our advancement in thinking...

i am what i am now because of them. i really grew up in school mentally and physically. it was the only place where i can be who I am.unlike at home where i am afraid to do mistakes because my parents would get mad every time i got mistaken. i was lucky i had best mentors. i always consult to them even up to now. i have some communications to some.

Hi Flagella08, I completely understand what you mean about teachers being mentors. The teachers were able to provide an environment for you to learn and not be afraid to make mistakes and learn from your mistakes without fear of anyone being mad.

I like teachers who treat their students fairly, regardless of the student's performance. I like teachers who are firm, yet kind. I like teachers who are not biased when it comes to disciplining their students. In my school, they preferred those who were in the honor roll, who were rich and who were popular. In fact there was one teacher, a Math teacher to be exact, who preferred to hang out with the rich kids in school. In high school, a club was put up and only those who were rich or those in the honor roll were invited. It's funny because it's a Math and Science club. Not a country club membership.
