as much as i want more sleep, but i have this habit of waking up in the we hours of the night because i pee. i can't pee even before i sleep thus my biological clock wakes me up at the wee hours of the night. i hate it every time it disturbs my sleep. it's done every night and i don't know if i can still change that,im fighting against myself. i also avoid drinking water before bedtime but still i can't help from urinating during those times. Do you wake up at the wee hours of the night? For what reasons?

I Rarely wake up at the wee hours of night.
It seems you have a bad biological clock.
You have to do more to tune it back to normal.

yes my biological clock needs to be back to its normal settings. the root of this problem is that i don't have consistent hours of sleep. during summer time, i sleep very late and during other months i sleep a lot. i just wish i could have fix plans for myself so that i can decide how many hours of rest and sleep do i need to get every day. my online works also add my dilemma.

Hi there flagella08, it is years since I had a sound sleep.I also have this bad habit of getting up in the middle of the night for a pee. My problem is on some days I have to get up at least twice in the night for urinating. It is worse during winters. I have also tried various things like going and urinating before going to sleep. Not taking water at least two hours before going to sleep, but nothing has helped. The irony is, in the daytimes, I do not feel to urinate frequently, and on some days, if I pee in the morning, I pee only in the evening after nearly 8 to 10 hours. Only in the night I have this problem.

It seems like lately all I do is wake up in the middle of the night. I haven't been able to fall asleep at night, I wake up at least three times a night and then I drag butt through the day because I am so tired but can't sleep. I have taken a few naps during the day but not for any longer than an hour...i am not sure if this is the reason why I can't sleep at night but there are days when I don't nap in the day and still have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep at night. I will usually get up only once a night to use the restroom the rest of the time it is just because I can't stay asleep.

I wake up in the middle of the night. Not frequently because I have to use the bathroom but sometimes that is the case. If you are already avoiding liquids before you go to bed, I am not sure there is much else you can do beside, try to use the toilet right before you get in bed. However, I wish i had a reason like havingto go to the bathroom for why I wake up. I just wake up sometmes for no reason at all!

i wake up at night, at about 12 something in the morning because my daughter has to wake me up to pee, she can't pee before we sleep so i have to wake up when she's waking me or else, our bed will be wet.

I wake up in the middle of the night all the time. I am not a good sleeper at all. I hate it because then I am tired during the day and I want to sleep then. Sometimes I wake up to go to the bathroom, I had a bad dream, or I just wake up for no reason. I usually lay there for an hour or two, tossing and turning before I can get back to sleep.

Had to pee, yeah, that would be the first reason while I woke-up every night. But the best reason for waking up at night is for me to check for any other activity in the house and in the surroundings. I can easily woke-up when my mind heard something outside the room or outside the house. A dog bark usually do this, as its a indication that someone is near the house. The person maybe harmless or just passing-by, but you can never know when the burglar strike. So better be prepared and woke-up in every sound you heard rather than waking-up the next morning with all of your belongings was gone.

Hi Flagella08, I also almost the same as you. Experiencing it. If i sleep late in the afternoon, arround midnight, i would wake up. but i woke up not because the urge to urinate. I always wake up at midnight because i do the work of the office must be presented the next day. So after work, i always sleep in order for my body refresed before tackling the task. have a nice day.

I used to have this problem when I was small, I used to dream about a toilet and I took a piss, guess what I was actually pissing in real life too. Oh well, you just need to adapt yourself, say drink a lot of water 2 hours before you want to sleep. I'm sure you will need to go to the toilet soon and then just go and then try to sleep. I'm pretty sure no one can control their own body to feel the need to go to the toilet. So just try to make better habits. I don't have this problem anymore. Cheers.

It need some time to change the habit, I sleep very early when i am a school student, but now i can not sleep untill very late of the night. when you want to pee, you can resit on, and slowly change the biological clock, five minutes, ten minutes, and you will pee when you get up on the morning.
