Internet surfing, is an wastage of time?

I love internet surfing. Most of my active times i spend with this surfing. Day long i surf, visit this site to that site. Many a times i dont find any reason to it. I claim now a days that it is my hobby. Despite, some times i feel i am spending my times for nothing.
Have you ever thought that this internet surfing is an wastage of time? Or has this thought ever blinked in you mind?

Before I realized that I can earn money by just surfing the net I thought im just wasting my time on reading those news and registering those social networking sites and many other things I do on the internet. Now I am fully used my internet surfing with some monetary benefit on it.

Surfing the internet is not a waste of time. Look at it this way.....When you go shopping, whether it is to the mall or grocery store, is that a waste of time? Of course not cause you are either going there to buy something or window shop. Look at surfing the internet as window shopping. Not only that, you do not need to use any gas to do it.

Internet surfing is not a wastage of time if you use it worth fully.All information we get by surfing.

lol yeah it really waste of time if you just wasting your time if you just wandering around without knowing what you are looking for..
for me internet surfing is not wasting my time at all, i have new experience on internet, i gain new knowledge every now and then and when i got bored i can always find some amusing stuff by surfing in the internet, so i think surfing internet is really good for me..
now i am trying to mastering card manipulation stuff so when i got lost i just return to what i am looking for at first, finding some xcm stuff, that way i will not get lost any further and end up with doing something that really waste of time in the internet.. :)

it never comes in my mind that internet surfing is just a waste of time, it helps me a lot of things, and i can't live without it though. life is very much easy with internet..

It's a wastage of time if you are surfing internet without any purpose. Internet can offer you many good things. If your surfing is goal based than it's fine. Otherwise just sitting in front of your laptop and surfing from this to that doesn't make any sense. It's better you go out and hang up with others in real life. If you want to surf internet for a hobby then one or two hours a day is enough for that.
