Upload image in mylot

I know that we can earn some money by uploading image either by opening a new topic or replying to a topic.Recently,i found out that there are members that always commenting to image that uploaded to mylot.There is something that i found confusing.Are they commenting the image just because they like it or we can actually earn from the comment just like commenting on other member's post?

We are told in the FAQs that we earn for all our activities here though some are not specified individually. Many users do things for the fun of it too regardless of whether they earn for it. Commenting on photos is fun and when someone receives a comment I'm sure it makes their day 
Until you reach 500 you can only upload them when you start a discussion. Afterwards you will be able to upload them in responses and comments too.
