Are you an Apple or a Pear?

Human body can be categorized as either an apple or a pear.... Apple shaped are those who have their middle large...(big tummies) but will have great legs Pear shaped are those who have their bottom large.... so they could be flat waisted... And it is said an Apple shaped body is more prone to diseases like diabetes, heart attack etc..... I was an Apple but now I have almost reduced my tummy to become flat.... but still I would say I am an Apple So are you an Apple or a Pear Please share your thoughts.....

I think i might like apple!I think I am fat! they all i'am fat, apple is good,looks lovely,however,diabetes is terrible,we apples shoud note it!

Yeah you are right we are more prone to diabetes and heart related diseases, so must be watchful of our waist line....

An Apple man - I am an Apple man.
As you have mentioned above, I may be an Apple-shaped people whose store body fat around the abdomen and chest, surrounding internal organs. In my opinion, for most people, a few extra pounds is not harmful to their health. If you are an Apple with a higher Waist-hip ratio, consider talking to a dietitian about making changes to your eating patterns. If you are a Pear with a healthy weight, try to pay more attention to eat with a healthy habit, take some measures to bulid body at the same time. In total, accept your present situation, then, try to form a good eating habit.

My waist-hip ratio is not too high but I am trying to work towards reducing it further.....

well, i m peared shaped..!! unfortunately I have thunder thighs when my upper body is lean and slim...I wish i had thin legs though now i m working on this... any idea to burn the thigh fat is most welcomed..!!

I am reading a book which emphasises on the body shape and helps to reduce weight by centimetres and not by kilograms... if I finish the book maybe I would be able to give you some ideas....

hi kkanaka oh dear I am that dreaded apple and yes I am a diabetic and am overweight with the damned big tummy. I do have the world's worst time trying to lose weight also.my middle is large and I do so hate it.I am handicapped in exercising as I wear a brace on my left leg. walking is hard for me but it has always been the way before to get my weight down.So far my heart has been okay but I do want to lose weight.

Dear kkanaka, Very interesting topic I am not so sure whether I am an apple or a pear. Is there any other fruits available? My body structure is I got a 'tummy' after a heavy meal, big buttock and big thigh too. What am I? I hope that I will had some exercise to reduce my tummy. It do not look good when I am wearing an evening gown. My big thigh make me difficult to get a nice pear of jeans..
