People were staring at my CROTCH....

India

I remember this funny incident happened with me long time back, I was around . It was my college days. My parents had left together for a couple of days. I was supposed to look after all the household chores, do the homework and assignments from college. I even had to take care of the meals of my younger brother. That morning by the time I left for the class I was already running late. Now it was about 10 minutes walk from the bus stop to the college & I noticed that people were staring at me in as trange way! i thought maybe I was really looking like smart or something and I was enjoying the attention until I reached my college and friends had a hearty laugh. I wasn't zipped. It was embarrassing but funny, realizing the reason for all the attention I was getting while coming down, Has it ever happened to you, guys? For all those women out there any incident as of such you would like to share?

You poor man! I have seen a couple people in this dilemma and tried to quietly let them know before they went any further. I can just picture your mates, though, having a good laugh and secretly being very glad it wasn't them!

It has, a couple of times. I had a pair of shorts that I discovered would not remain zipped. I didn't discover this until I was way too far from anywhere to anything about it! I check - and rezipped - about a hundred times that day, and threw them in the trash when I got home! No looks, remarks, or snickers, though, so I guess it was all good!

This has happened to me as well and from my experience, guys would never tell a girl that er fly is open!!! It was only when a girl noticed it and told me about it. If she didn't notice, I wouldn't have noticed it ever! Or maybe the reason why guys wouldn't tell girls is that they dont want the girls to be embarrassed in front of them..(So they will just enjoy te situation..LOL)

Yeah subconsciously I have developed this habit of feeling my zip too. I guess it is bad manners but to let open your fly is ever worse I guess. Thanks a bunch!!

Lol. That makes me rare then..hehe. From then on, I have always been extra careful..I don't just double check but triple or quadruple check just to make sure I am good. hehe. It's weird because I now have the habit of always touching my zipper anywhere I am..I think that doesn't look good anymore..

This has regularly happening to me. One day I was travelling in a motor cycle, and some body came and parked his bike near my bike at a red light, and told me in a loud voice, that my fly was open. It was quite embrassing, because a few people who were near, also saw this and began smiling. Luckily the light changed to green, and I was able to speed away from there.

In Chennai also the same comment is passed, but the answer your friend has given is one of the best.

Hi Ramesh, You have described the situation so well. I can almost visualize it. Good for you that the light turned green. Otherwise most of the times for me, time stands still at situations like these. You know what! Here in my place boys usually say like " Boss your post box is open". And one day a good friend of mine was similarly taunted that his post box was open, and he was quick to reply ; " Yeah, I am expecting a mail, do you mind?"

That has happened to me a few times lol. We have a saying here "you got egg on your chin" for those sort of moments. The egg on your chin makes one look down and discover the embarrassment

"Egg on your chin" Thats interesting. I can very well imagine the horror on one's face when he discovers that his zip isn't zipped.

Yes it is a look of horror when one discovers it and then you wonder how long you have been going around unzipped. It must have happened everyone at least once in their lives.

Wow this morning itself! Good for you that you had your shorts on, underneath the long pants. That tends to happen to lots of people when they are in sleep and suddenly they have to wake up for some reason. The mailman must have had a smile on his face for the rest of the day i guess!

I have had things like that happen to me. You wonder why someone didn't tell you about it. But I can understand why. I saw guy with his zipper down once., I couldn't bring myself to tell him. It was too engrossing for him to know i was looking lol. Poor guy.

Yeah, maybe I was too engrossed in my thoughts that nobody botheres to come up to me and tell me that. But my friends were spot on and quick to jump at that. I made a day them I guess, they all had a good laugh.

I remember running for the schoolbus when I was about 16. I was in the 6th form so we didnt have to wear a uniform. I was wearing a short slim-fitting velvet dress & didnt notice until I sat down that it had ridden up to around my waist so it looked like I had no skirt on at all...& this was before the days of tights/pantyhose I've never run for a bus since!

Now if you were out here someone would have told you that you were not zipped up properly within the first two minutes. They would have said something like :"Your shop door is open"! It must have been so embarrassing for you. This has happened to me several times. I get out of my car at work and a gardner will tell me that I am not zipped up. I am no longer embarrassed! Blessings

LOL. That's pretty funny. I've had similar incidents before, but some of them are so embarrassing that I don't even want to mention. My history teacher had a similar incident once. People were laughing in his class, and we all couldn't stop. So he got angry at some of us and sent them outside. Then, the vice principle came down to talk to those kids, and after doing so, came inside to watch, wrote something on his iPhone, and showed it to the teacher, telling him his fly was open. It was HILARIOUS.

The students would find it super hilarious if they can catch the teacher in something funny like this. it is as if the tables are turned. The VP was very sophisticated I guess otherwise I guess most principals would have directly said it to the teacher in front of the class. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. Bodhi

I don't usually wear dresses, but I had a meeting one day, so I wore a dress that had ties in the back. I had to go to the bathroom when I got to work, so I went there first thing when I got into the building. Then, I walked almost all the way through the building before somebody bothered to tell me that the ties of my dress were tangled in my underwear and the back of my dress was up. It was SO embarrassing! Fortunately, it was a long dress, so everything was still covered and you couldn't really see anything, but it was still embarrassing walking around with the back of my dress pulled up almost to my butt.

Aww.. that must have been embarrassing. Atleast it wasn't that bad as it could have. So did you realize this before the meeting or was it too late? Thanks for sharing your experience, Bodhi

well i haven't had any interesting incidents of having my zipper undone tho i have had incidents of bikinis trying to lose themselves and show everything both in the ocean and in lakes thats when things get really embarrassing. tho my finance has issues remembering to zip up his fly but thankfully the kind of pants he wears you wouldn't be able to tell unless your trying to. and i check before we leave the house anyway.

Yup it is kind of funny when you are caught off-guard and make a day for the others. It must be scary if the bikini tries to peel off. Thanks for sharing, Bodhi

Well honestly I never expected that from anyone. I never knew that all the zippers won't budge for you and you have to adopt in this novel way. hehehehehe I am still rolling on the floor.

I think that it is one of the most common things that could happen to anybody. I had so much experience like that, that I always take precaution by wearing long shirt or blouses just in case I am not zipped. Even if I was able to zip, but forgot to lock the zip and it would just open by itself. It's really embarrassing but I had learned to deal with it.

Hi Cd, Wearing a long shirt surely helps, but I am afraid it is out of fashion for men, here, nowadays. The shirts are really short ones so if I forget to zip it up I may be getting all those funny looks of people around me. Thanks and have a great evening!

opposite gender look always for the embarrassment factor means if you stare a gal when she is dressed awkwardly the too it feels like going bad similar is your case but one should never think about such petty things
