Have you ever been in a foreign country?

Well friends, that's the question- have you ever been in a foreign country and where? And what do you think about Japan? Do you like this country? Do you want to go there? Because one of my favorite destinations is exactly Japan.

I would love to go to Japan. I love Japanese art and would like to go there myself and see where they get their inspiration. My sister got to go in the mid-1970's, hummm, think I need to look at her pictures again - wonder if I can get her to bring her photo album at Christmas....

Japan is amazing, and recommended you do everything within your power to go there. To get the best possible vacation, I recommend looking into things like the JR Pass (Japan Railways). It allows you to take all the JR railways throughout most of Japan. There is loads of incredible information out there to help people like us feel comfortable and enjoy Japan how it's meant to be enjoyed. All the best.

Hi! I'm a Chinese. As known to all, the Japen had invaded China during World War 2. Perhaps it's our duty to hate Japen, just as Korean, but it pasts so long time, and it had been bombed by two atom bomb, I think we should forgive it! By the way, we should try our best to keep the peace!

Hi, Chiniona! Where are you from? Do you like Japan?

I haven't been to Japan for many years, but I lived there for a while in my early twenties and loved it. I enjoyed the culture and the language and learned to speak Japanese while I was there. I did miss American tv though.

I lived in a small apartment in the Rappongi district in Tokyo for a fair chunk of my time there. I learned how to make Japanese food fairly quickly as American style food was really expensive. I also traveled to the north to Hokaido and down to Kyushu. Japanese was easy for the ear to pick up although I found the grammar difficult. And most everyone that I had contact with was pleased that I had made the effort to learn some Japanese. Most people in Japan study English in school and although they have a difficult time following a spoken conversation in English, I was able to have written exchanges in English with many people there. I loved my experience there and would highly recommend going if you can.

I haven't yet been to Japan but I do hope I will go there one day. If so I think I will fly into Kyoto and then get a train pass for one or two weeks. My brother-in-law went to Japan on business for four months and he loved it there. I have visited over 50 different countries in the world so far in my lifetime. The first three countries that I went to were France, Greece and the Netherlands. When I was 20 years old I traveled around the world. I was away for just over one year on that fantastic trip. On it I went to the USA, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. Earlier this year I took my toddler son to South Africa. My favorite countries that I have been to are Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Belize and the Seychelles. In the future I hope to visit many more different countries.

The only foreign countries I've been to are Cambodia and Taiwan. I really enjoyed seeing all those ancient temples in Cambodia, especially Angkor Wat. It has always been a childhood dream to actually go there and see it with my own eyes. As for Japan, my little brother and I have always wanted to go there. This is mostly because we've always wanted to go to the Gundam museum. But that's not the only reason. I've heard that Japan is a beautiful country and I would really like to learn more about their culture. It's so fascinating.

Yes, that's for sure. Japan is one of the most beautiful countries in Asia and in the whole world. The nature, the people everything is so perfect and beautiful. I wish you to go there some day!

Yes, I have been to Italy, Manila and Bangkok. I went to Italy a few years ago and I remember when I was getting down from the plane, I could feel the fresh air swept my face! I just loved the experience. There's always a feeling that I couldn't explain each time the plane landed safely and I was in another place. I like Japan, it is definitely in my travel list. I heard so much about the technologies, cleanliness and beautiful scenery. I hope someday my hubby and I can go there.

I can only wish you to go there and have a fun!

I have been to many countries like Europe, China, USA, New Zealand, Australia, etc. except Japan. It will be my next destination. I heard the best time to go is to watch the cherry blossom. Though I have not been there, but I have watched it on TV - Japan Hour. Each week they will show you the different part of Japan. Is as good as being there! Japanese love seafood and they like to eat them raw. Their handicraft is unique and beautiful. Would definitely visit Japan!
