Well, that's what the budget is saying. What's your view on this new service fee. Do you think it as an extra burden to the card holders or do you feel that the government needs the funds more?

rm50 service for the main card and rm25 for the supplementary card. why. this is not helping us. i have decided and now i keep 2 cards in case one card fails. i hope the authority looks again into this and have a heart for us all.

If this isn't bad enough, the BLR just went up by 0.25% average. I think a lot of people are going to be affected. Especially those who are wage earners.

Already I have friends coming and murmuring. I think more has to do with us than the situations. Situations come and go but we are here to stay. We need to find the solutions and overcome rather than to lament helplessly over them.

I think that this service fee they want to charge is a rip off. They threw away the first 750 billion with no way to track what the companies did with the money so this is their way of making up for a BIG....mistake that they made...making us pay for it by charging the high service fee on unpaid balances. A way for the government to recoop some of the money which will take years and years.... To make matters worse.....if you decide to cancel your credit card they are saying that it will ruin your credit/ a mark against you. The government wants your interest and will do what ever it takes. Doesn't sound to good to me.

Well, these are some of the things we common citizens lament on yet hardly able to do anything about them. Nevertheless, I think the voice of the majority will put some effect on the issue. I don't own many credit cards, but an RM50 is still something I feel they should charge the banks not the card holders.

Avoid blaming the government for everything, especially thingswhich affect the whole world. Malaysian card holders are not the only ones facng additional charges. The wold of finance can be seen as so,ething simple, but in reality it is very comples with many intricacies. I disagree with anything that can directly or indirectly raises the prices of other goods or services, but sometimes we have to accept it now rather than facing a bigger financial upheaval in the future. By the way I am not a government servant, nor belonging to any political party.
